I recently stopped in to visit this place because I moved a few towns over and had passed it many times but never stopped in. Let me start by saying that they are the nicest group of people you will ever meet. It is obvious that this bakery is their passion. They are excited about the foods that they create. I had my 4 year old daughter with me and I mentioned to them that it was my first time in the store. The friendly woman behind the counter immediately welcomed me and asked if my daughter would like a cookie - they handed her and I two huge chocolate chip cookies that are made fresh on the premises. While we nibbled on our cookies I checked out their menu and asked some questions about their products. The owner (male) came out from the back and asked if I had ever tried a canoli (not sure if I spelled that right) and I said that I had. He said that they make great canolies and handed me one to try. With my half eaten chocolate chip cookie on one hand and now a canoli in the other I asked if I could order a couple of sandwiches to take home, since now I was full from my freebies! They offer great soups, salads, specialty sandwiches, and I was imformed that they also do local catering.
Needless to say the cookies, canoli and the free squaw bread that they had me try were fabulous, and extremely generous of them. The sandiwches that I brought home and we ate later than night were amazing and huge.
I love to give good people my business. That to me is what makes a business a good business. They are friendly, their food and prices are excellent, but nothing can top the smiles that they give you when you walk in the door.
