Established in 1976, ours is a full service Podiatry practice. We have a comfortable and friendly setting where we can put your foot health first! As a Podiatrist, I specialize in treating foot problems. My staff and I aim to keep you walking in comfort. Our goal is to provide services, whether conservative or surgical, that is appropriate for your problem.
We are located in Orinda California, a suburb located in the East Bay of San Francisco. Our office is open 5 days per week and has emergency hours on weekends. There is parking at the door and our office is wheelchair accessible.

Education & Background
Dr. Handwerker has been in practice for 25 years. He is a member of the Alta Bates Medical Group. Currently President of the Alameda Contra Costa Podia try Association, he is also a member in good standing of the California and American Podiatry Associations.
Dr. Handwerker grew up and was educated in New York City. He is a graduate of Hofstra University with a major in biology and minor in economics. Dr Handwerker graduated from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1976.
