That's ok, because the Original Oyster House has lots more to offer! They have plenty of Gulf shrimp, local fish, and some yummy crab cakes too! They love kids; there's a playground & a place to feed the fish. Inside is a wonderful atmosphere perfect for families, business, or special dates! This nice seafood restaurant sets on Mobile Bay and serves some really good seafood.. The upstairs serves just about everything you could want as far as local fresh seafood goes.. I think the downstairs is the oyster bar and maybe other things, that Im not sure of because I don't eat oysters, so therefore I never go down there...lol It is very easy to find, just look for the USS Alabama.. across the street from it is the Oyster House, easy to spot, just look for the building that the shark is coming out of the roof! The have really good lunches everyday.. and fast service.. Another good thing is, make sure you go there on your birthday.. your dinner is free! and if you stop by Fort Conde Welcome Center, they have a great coupon for you... Cant beat it! more
