I was impressed with the staff in the L&D ward of Orem Community Hospital when I gave birth earlier this year. My labor nurse was absolutely excellent. She was always available and kept me and the doctor updated on my status. I had a nice big room to myself. The lactation instruction, use of a pump, etc could have been better (maybe they are great under perfect circumstances but mine was not). Overall, I would recommend Orem Community for those who want a smaller hospital experience. more

Fastest Emergency Room In the Valley 8/20/2005

The Orem Community Hospital has been praised for its fast turn around time for patients awaiting emergency room attention. The nurses that staff the emergency room are exceptionally friendly, and the doctors are very knowlegable and trained. OCH also is popular with those who are delivering children as they have their own OR in the woman's ward as well as 24 hour staff to man this quiet community hospital. more
