I am surprised by the negative reviews. Granted my first trip here was a year ago, but I had a great experience with my exam and finding new frames. The doctor was fantastic (I wish my real doctor were as good!)and the sales clerk was patient and helped me look through about twenty frames. I really felt like she was giving me her honest opinion about which frames suited me best. Maybe a few years ago things were different, but I think that has changed. I do not understand these poor reviews! Both my mother and I went in on separate occasions, and purchased glasses from them. Not only did we love the quality of their work we had a great time with the staff - They were fun, we had a good time with them. They told me my glasses would be ready in about 5 days, but they got them back in just a couple of days, and that included a holiday! Once I got my glasses I decided I should have taken the sales person (Chris) advise and have different leanses put in, I called him and explained that - and he fixed the problem without a fuss! I agree with what other users have said about this store re: very poor customer service. I ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses at this store which I was supposed to get in a few days. However, I had to call 9 days later and the clerk told me that they just had arrived and since I was out of town, I asked them if they could ship it for me next day, and I was told that they could only sent it with ups ground. I eventully received my sunglasses 15 days after I had ordered them. \r \r Pros: good selection Cons: very poor service more

Stunningly poor service! 2/11/2008

I brought an existing set of frames to this store to have them manufacture a new set of lenses. They called me a week later to say the frames had cracked during manufacture - nothing to be done, and sure enough there is a sign saying no responsibility for breakage. (Though I've owned multiple pairs of glasses for decades and have never had this occur.) I asked if they could special order a set of replacement frames that I would pay for. No, they would not. They don't carry that brand. Well, can you refund the $550 for the lenses? Answer: NO! Can you believe this?! They said they weren't responsible for my frames breaking while they made the lenses. !!!! I entered the store with a perfectly good pair of glasses, and was left with no glasses, no lenses, no ability to reorder frames, and a $550 charge for the privilege of interracting with these people. Thank God Visa saw it my way and reversed the charges. Cons: Service, service, service. more

This store is awful ? not only are the sales people rude and sarcastic, but they tried to sell me a pair of lasst years Gucci sunglasses off the shelf for full price. When I told them that I didn?t want a floor model, the sales person tried to tell me that they were a ?new? and ?one of a kind? model. Needless to say, I declined, and rather than spend 300.00 in Oprometrix, I spent 120.00 online for the exact same glasses. So much for one a kind. more

Very bad customer service! 8/14/2006

A store clark had a very bad attitude and did not want me to exchange the sunglasses I wanted. They made fun of customers after they left the store. I am very unhappy about their service and unprofessional attitude. !!!Not Recommended!!! more
