The Russian woman who owns this dry cleaners is an absolute nightmare. She is rude, short tempered, and unappreciative of her customers. I walked in during business hours while she was on a personal phone call and she was so rude to me. then she started fighting with her husband who also works there. My clothes were wrinkled, did not smell clean, and were covered in dog hair when I got them back. My black dress also shrunk and faded. Save your money and clothes by going somewhere else. The absolute WORST dry cleaning experience ever!!! I wish I could give zero stars for this establishment. more

I have been looking for a dry cleaner in the downtown Manhattan area with reasonable prices but more importantly good customer service. I came across 1 NY Plaza Cleaners on the concourse level of 1 NY Plaza...needless to say I left VERY satisfied. They had this great annual sale going on...my clothes were perfectly dry cleaned and they even managed to remove a terrible stain I thought would destroy a skirt. They were so friendly and helpful, even gave me advice on stain removal.... I'm definitely using them from now on, they deliever too. Life is great. I highly recommend!!! I have been bringing my shirts to this place, because it is close to work, but the quality stinks. They take care of stains OK, but the collars are crushed every single time. I've made certain to get my shirts the next day when they arrive, but the dry cleaners they use must not care, because the collars always look smashed together and terrible. Lots of dry cleaners will use paper and plastic pieces to keep collars crisp, but not these guys. I have asked, and they say ""That would be expensive."" And I say, ""OK, I'll pay extra,"" but they just shake their heads at me as if it isn't possible. I'm going to go elsewhere.
