From consigner to people interested in consignment and or shoppers 12/26/2010

The staff is amazing and always friendly, and now they have expanded with a plus size store that also has designer bags, which if always a girls best friend. To the comment about "they asked me to donate to their store",I'm a consigner there as well as a frequent shopper, they never ask you to donate to their store, they ask would you like to donate the stuff they couldnt accept to a foundation that picks up from all the consignment shops around there, and the foundation gives the clothes to churches , local organizations that hand out clothes to the homeless, maybe if you weren't so upset they couldnt accept any of your clothes you would have heard them correctly. As far as cash offer yes the offers are low, that's why you start an account and get half of the selling price when it sells. Their prices are affordable and get reduced on a regular bases, they always mail you coupons if you sign up on the mailing list. Hope this will help people that want to become new consigners and shop more

Buy stuff there....Do not sell 9/15/2010

It is a good place to buy. Beware of selling your things outright because you get nearly nothing for them. I tried to sell brand name pants and shoes that were current. After they went through the stuff and the assistant said she would me a dollar or $2 a piece for a total of $12 dollars. Unbelivable!!!!!! ...It crazy that a business thinks I could just give them my clothes s for nearly free! It upsetting to hear and spare yourself the annoyance. more

unpleasant experience 4/28/2010

I have unpleasant experience with this store.Reason?Judge yourself.\r 1)I had an appointment, but when I checked in I've been told to wait about 20 minutes and to leave my clothes behind desk.I was wandering around shop and finally called after 25 minutes.\r 2)My clothes were in mess! They went through my clothes without me!\r 3)The salesperson/manager told me that my clothes are cheap brand and they will not accept it\r 4)She(salesperson/manager) asked me if I want to donate my clothes to their store.\r HA-HA-HA! I never laugh so hard in my life.I laugh all the way back home.\r All my clothes were from stores like:JONES NEW YORK,LIS CLAIRBORNE,LANE BRYANT,MACY'S,EDDIE BAYER and other good stores..2 dresses was totally new with labels.3 pants were new with labels. All my clothes were in great condition, clean and very representable.Do not go to this store. There are plenty others second hand stores who will be glad to sell your clothes and do not take advantage of you. more

Just OK 7/25/2008

I give the store points for presentation: they do a good job of displaying and arranging the clothes. But the few things I've seen that haven't been tired-looking haven't been my size. As for consignment, unless you just want to get a tiny fraction of what your stuff is worth and walk away, don't take cash from them upfront...set up an account and get a greater cut once your stuff sells. If I'm going to give away really nice, current, just-drycleaned items that are truly worth hundreds of $$, I'd rather give them to charity than to a for-profit business. more

What Cha' LQQKin For...? 2/18/2006

Would it be St. John Knits, Prada, Escada, Ralph Lauren, Coach, D&B, Fendi, Dana Buchman? Or how about Talbots, Jones New York, Saville, Kasper, Nina Leonard, Limited, New York (Lerner), Limited or Express???\r \r Formal, Business or Sports wear...???\r \r You get the picture - if you want it, One More Time has it, and sometimes NEW with TAGS!!! PROS: CONS: Shoes available, but even best label shows Xtreme wear... more

Best collection of used clothing I've ever seen 6/4/2005

This is not your usual thrift store. The clothes here are in good condition, and most amazingly, tend to be very much in style. There are not only standard brands like Gap and J. Crew, but high-end designer items (Ralph Lauren, Prada, etc.) This is not to say everything is perfect -- the shoes, especially, while in good shape for thrift store shoes do usually show signs of wear. But there are some great finds here. more
