Looks beautiful and it's on the beach. Then the nickel and dome you to death with all the non complimentary items that cheaper hotels provide. Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt are all great hotels that don't f- you at the same time... Not worth IT!!! more

warning not dog friendly 6/12/2009

this hotel told me that they were dog friendly so i brought my small dog and paid the dog fee,i stayed 4 days,so i went to the beach and came back only to find out my dog is not in my room ,finding a note telling me that security has my dog because the neighbors were complaing of her barking,so they caged herand put her somewhere else,if i would of known that they were going to do that i would of never stayed here, now i dont want to leave the hotel room knowing that they are going to lock her in a cage somewhere,so basically they are lieing about being pet friendly, plus they dont tell you that you have to pay 7 dollars a day for parking, everythoing here you have to pay extra ,no complimentary breakfast ,i will never come back here or recomend this place to anyone ,OVER PRICED more

The place to stay in downtown Corpus Christi 6/23/2007

I am a travel agent and thought I would try out this hotel on a family trip using my travel agent discount and also this hotel was a preferred property of the corporate client account I was servicing at the time. Let's just say the bayfront view was wonderful! We were high up and I loved going outside on the balcony at night...it was beautiful. Everything was within walking distance. Our sons enjoyed staying as well, they both got Omni Kids bags full of goodies. The food on their room service menu were a little pricey especially when you're traveling with kids, so when we were hungry we would go out to eat instead (may I recommend Wallbangers? Yum!). We stayed last year and are planning to go again next month and looking forward to it. Pros: Nice bayfront view from room, clean Cons: Restaurant food a bit pricey more

Great location, nice hotel 9/12/2005

We stayed at the Omni Bayfront while we were househunting. The location is beautiful - most of the higher floors have a great view of the bay. The hotel was average for a higher-end hotel. Many of the public areas are showing their age and need a facelift. The staff was friendly and the parking was free (nice for a downtown location). We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to friends looking for a bayfront location. more

so-so 6/24/2005

When we got there our room wasn't ready so we had to wait 45 minutes. So, we checked our bags and left. We came back 45 minutes later and our rooms were ready so we asked for our bags and the man said he would bring them up immediately. After 30 minutes and no bags we got worried and called the lobby. We talked to the guy and he said he would bring them right away. After another hour we called and said the same thing. Finally they brought them. We were also late for our dinner reservations with friends. Ugh! When we got back there was a note about how the internet, pay per view, and games weren't working. All the prices were of course double or tripled but that is expected. The room quality was fine, nothing more than expected. Not worth anymore of my time or money!! more

This may be the place to stay in Corpus. They just added wireless dsl, which is very nice. Rooms have great views. Staff is friendly. Restaurant upstairs is very good. Good location in downtown that has some nice bars you can walk to. more
