I can't begin to tell you how much this company has put me through. A driver with this insurance hit me in the rear at a stop light. I have the vehicle's license plate number on my bumper. You would think that that would be an instant pay out with minimal difficulties. WRONG!!! They had to do an investigation which is fine (I guess.) Then they accepted liability and sent out the check on June 12th. It August 22nd and I have yet to receive it. At this point I'm scheduling a flight to their home office to hand pick up my check because they seem to think this is a joke. more

I have nothing good to say about this insurance or should I say lack of insurance, as far as ratings I would even give it a half star!! I pray the Law will investigate them and prove they are fraud!!! My son's car was totaled by someone who ran a stop sign leading to a major Highway and the police report plainly says the other driver failed to stop at the stop sign, and they are still wanting to dispute the accident when and if you can get them on the phone!!! Huge Thumbs Down!! more

the worst insurance to deal with ever 3/20/2017

I was in an accident with a guy with omni insurance who was at fault in rear ending me at a stop sign. years later still trying to deal with his insurance, Omni. they never denied fault yet they will not ever respond and you can not get a human being on the phone, and worse they don't do emails (except for a 'general email pool', meaning no one is accountable.....so you are forced to call, wait, hold, be redirected, to maybe leave a message which they will not ever return. they have extensions however they don't work and the automated response is, "sorry that is an invalid entry". Omni insurance is only about avoidance games. more

Frustrated 2/6/2017

My brand new vehicle was involved in an accident with a person insured by Omni. We can't get anyone to answer our calls. The client hasn't filed a claim to date, and we were pretty much told TS at this point. They want us to pay out of pocket for a rental until she fesses up to the accident. WTH kind of insurance is this? No one answers the phones there or knows how to file a claim. I think I need to contact a lawyer more

I had Omni insurance for several years against my better judgement. I would send in my payment two weeks before it was due and receive cancellation notices constantly. I was in an accident and it took Omni three weeks before they looked at my car and it took almost two months before I got it back because the body shop was waiting on Omni to approve the work; which was 3rd rate. more

My daughter was rear-ended by one of their insured drivers and her car, along with three others, was totaled. We have yet to reach a person to file a claim. I've been sitting on hold this time for 68 minutes and counting. While on hold I've had time to look up the Georgia Insurance Commissioner, Better Business Bureau and our insurance carrier's arbitration information. Given the history I have read on several review sites I don't expect dealing with them to improve once I finally actually speak to someone. They owe my daughter a car as well as a rental and one way or another they will comply. more

They Deserve NEGATIVE STARS 6/25/2015

I was a pedestrian walking in a crosswalk, with the walk single on, with plenty of other people in the crosswalk, when I got hit by a car. Unfortunately for me this man has Omni Insurance. I got hit back in February, it is now the end of June, and I am still receiving letters saying they need more information. I've faxed them everything, hospital bills, medical records, police statements, absolutely everything, three times now. I've called go knows how many times, and still absolutely nothing. more

worst insurance company ever 4/21/2015

I have full coverage insurance after my accident I had to wait almost a week for adjuster to come after I had to call in chase him around then they had my car towed to a body shop that I did not pick all the while it took 4 weeks. To repair a car that they determined was totalled. But because of mis communication between the insurance company and body shop now they stuck me in a car that is possibly unsafe to drive sharon lodge was extremely heartless and rude. Worst insurance company I guess u get what you pay for lesson learned but I will b getting a lawyer more

I was in a car accident August 16th, Omni Insurance accepted full liability. The accident was 100% clearly not my fault. My car was totaled and I was left with no vehicle. Ross Balan who "supposedly" took my case informed me that I would only get rental covered for 2 weeks. I have yet to receive my portion of the checque for the loss of my car. I have been informed that Omni Insurance has not covered the rental car and that it is my responsibility to pay for the rental. Both contacts I was given at Omni are impossible to get a hold of. Not only was I in an accident by one of "their" insurers (who fell asleep at the wheel), my car was totaled, I lost my car, my son was hurt and I am left with having to cover rental car fee's, I have no idea when I will get my check for the total loss of my car. It has been over a month. Disrespectful, rude and very unprofessional on every level. more

HORRIBLE 8/28/2014

Its been over a month and half since i made the claim and still havnt recieved my check from my total loss accident. I contacted omni several times and the adjusters are very rude and not helpfull. They never contacted me until i called the insurance commissioner and got them involved. Who knows when i will recieve a payment? more

I called everyday and no one return my calls..it took 2 weeks for adjustor to come and I never got full amount for estimate..I didn't receive check till month after claim which still had wait for car get fix in next 3 weeks then they tried charge me for rental because it was pass 30 days never again more

i will not go into my personal story and testimony however trust me when i say this company is very shady .......don't be like me and fall for "low prices" or whatnot I'm definitely going back to progressive where the prices are lower and the customer is valued.....this freaking place has horrible hold times, they are not professional at all and they are ghetto yes i said it ghetto. Very shady and incompetent group of people NEVER NEVER AGAIN more

absolutely horrible! 2/2/2014

I was side swiped by someone who has omni insurance. The person never reported the accident and I had to deal with omni directly. I (my insurance company) faxed omni the police report twice-once they said they never received it! Even with the police report detailing their carrier was at fault, it took practically 1.5 months for an adjuster to come and look at my car. When they finally did come out, the adjuster for lost! It is now exactly 2 months to the day of my accident and my car is finally getting fixed. You call omni, leave message and no one ever returns your calls. I've never dealt with such poor service!!! more

I was rear ended by an individual who had Omni ins on Sept 2012. Omni ignored my claim until 2 weeks ago. I filed a complaint with the Pa dept of insurance. How ironic when the insurance commission followed up on my behalf it was paid. It took 18 mo. This company chooses to ignore your claim contact your Insurance Commission. more

Extremely Terrible Service :( 9/3/2013

I was rear ended by an Omni insured, it has been over a month since the accident and nothing has happened. They say the only thing holding up the claim is verification of vehicle registration... You can call the local police department and have them run a license plate number (which I gave to Omni) and they will tell you who it's registered to!!! Surely the insurance company has other ways to find this kind of stuff out as i'm sure it's very common with auto accidents. The Rep, Brian Sellers, is no help at all and conveniently is ALWAYS out of the office and does't return your calls. My car is STILL damaged and undriveable. I have been injured and have had to pay for ALL of it out of pocket because they can't set up a bodily injury claim until they verify registration....Even though they already accepted responsibility for the accident. I am so upset with this company and the service they HAVEN'T given. I only gave 1 star because you have to choose 1-5... ZERO stars is more like it. more

This company is absolutely horrible!!!!!!!!!!!! I have never in my life dealt with such idiots!!!!! They keep you on hold at least 20 minutes, never return phone calls or emails, and are very rude!! THEY NEED TO SHUT THIS INSURANCE COMPANY DOWN COMPLETELY!! I would give this place zero stars if I could!!!!!!! more
