I had dinner there this evening and it was horrible to say the least. I got the Poblano's and it came completely covered in sour cream and the beef tasted like you would imagine dog food tastes like, not that you would want to imagine that. My boyfriend got the Chili Relleno's and it was tasteless. I used to go there a few years ago and the food quality was really good. It went completely down hill. I will not be going back. more

Good Food, Great Prices. 11/15/2011

Good Mexican food at great prices. The atmosphere is nice and has an authentic Mexican feel to it. There is even a mariachi band on certain days of the month (call for details). The servers are very kind and timely, and the food is great. I would suggest this restaurant to anyone that likes Mexican cuisine. Plus, they give you warm tortilla chips and yummy salsa as you wait for your food. more

Good Mexican Food 9/30/2011

Food was good, service was good. Atmosphere leaves a bit to be desired, decorating does not look professionally done and structures/decorating looks thrown together by amateurs. Ordered a strawberry margharita that tasted just like ice and when I told the waiter it didn't taste like it had any alcohol in it, he did not offer to improve it. Flan was not that good either, in fact, I can make a better one and I'm not even Mexican. Still for authentic Mexican food, it's still better than than the competition in the area so would go there again. more

AMAZING.... CRAVE IT CONSTANTLY! 2/6/2009

This place is freaking fabulous.... I used to live about 15 minutes from there... Then I moved into Pittsburgh and it's about 45 mins away! It's so sad.... BEST FAJITAS IN THE WORLD! I cannot take that I do not get to eat there more often... I do go about once a month still.... WORTH THE DRIVE! The lunch prices are amazing... The margaritas are great... And the food always comes out quickly and hot! Pros: Food... Prices... Staff... EVERYTHING Cons: Hard to find more

Yum! Yum! 4/9/2008

I don't even like Mexican food very much and I love Old Mexico. Be sure to get rice and beans with your entree. They make the best rice and beans and it really compliments the rest of the food. I have ordered a variety of their items and they are all great. Usually, I have a favorite, but I like it all! They have a special type of cheese they put on top of everything and it is the best. This food is also great warmed up. We always take extra to go so we can have some for later on in the week. Pros: Service is excellent, food is great, nice Mexican atmosphere, prices are good. more

Real Mexican Food!!! 8/7/2007

This is the place to be if you are looking for real Mexican food. Taco Bell look out. Once you taste what a real chalupa tastes like, you'll never have any other. Everything there is served fresh, hot, and fast. From complimentary the tortilla chips and two types of homemade salsa, to the tasty margaritas, everything is great. The portions are very satisfying also. It is rare that I can finish the whole plate. There is a huge variety of items on the menu to choose from. Even the pickiest kids can find something yummy here. The staff is very friendly, and everything is clean. Pros: Great food, a bunch of parking, great for kids, no reservations needed. more

Great, authentic food with outstanding service. 2/15/2007

It's so refreshing to have a place like Old Mexico in an area where boring chain restaurants are so prevalent. Old Mexico has fabulous, authentic food. The menu is huge, with a great selection. The bar is stocked with a nice selection of Mexican imports. I've been to Old Mexico many times, and everything I've ordered has been delivered hot, fresh and very tasty. It's great for kids too. Service is prompt and very friendly. Pros: Authentic and fresh food, friendly service, wide selection, great for adults and kids more

i love this place! I have to say, i haven't had better mexican food, other than when i was in cancun. Fast service, great prices, food is always fresh and takes great! Clean, spacious bathrooms, lots of parking. Pros: food, service, parking, bathrooms are clean!!! more

Awesome!!! 8/4/2005

I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was really pleased. The service was great, they seat you quickly and get your order to in no more than a few minutes. The chips and salsa that they bring at as your appetizer are incredible! I've been back many, many times. Pros: Quick service, great food , nice atmosphere more
