Ohlone Collge is the best! 4/29/2011

First of all, you get what you put into your learning as simple as that. Ohlone College is a excellent College for anyone, who's interested in furthering their education. This is my second community college that I'll be graduating from. As a mother I must say the classes are very flexible, and the professors are very interesting, and they push very hard for your success. Like I said in the beginning, you get what you put into your learning. I feel that an education is a education no where you're getting it from. and a community college is the best way to get you foot in the door to prepare you academically for a 4 year institution. more

OHLONEEEEEEEEE! 10/21/2005

This college is a public college, while it might not be a great college compared to Stanford, it is pretty good. If you live in Fremont, you can go to Ohlone for free (with the exception of a few fees, such as registration). The classes are suitable, many teenagers take classes at Ohlone to make up for credits needed in high school. more

ohlone college 8/22/2005

Ohlone college locates on a hill. I like this college because its student tutorial center is pretty helpful. Students can get help from English, math, and physics subjects. I think this college can enhance student academic achievement. Counselors are very helpful and usually the waiting lines are short. The facilities are not old. more

"O" on the hill 8/19/2005

Ohlone College (or "O" on the hill, as it is fondly referred to) is the main junior college in Fremont. I know many 20 somethings that attend this school to further their education in computers, programming, media (they have their own popular radio station KOHL), and theatre. They have a very good arts curriculum, also. It is a rather small campus, but it is very pretty. more

Opportunities 8/15/2005

Ohlone college provides opportunities for many people. There are both night and day classes at your conveniences. They have great biotech and nursery programs. They are also a great community college to set you up for transfers to a UC or many other state universities. Lots of adults take night schools after work to enrich their knowledge. more

The big O is where it's at 8/11/2005

Ohlone College is Fremont's junior college. It offers a wide variety of classes, with evening and some weekend classes available. It's getting more and more into the online or distance class thing too. It is, thus, becoming more and more convenient to either advance your career or to simply enrich yourself and Ohlone is a great place to do it. The campus is situated amidst hills and the school has amenities offered by the larger universities. Plus, the price at the this comm college can't be matched. more

Lots of opportunities 8/11/2005

The campus is small and sits on a large hill. The scheduling is flexible, with both day and evening classes, and the price per unit is easy on the pocket. There are several study abroad programs and a biotech certification program. Also, this is one of the few places that offer glass-making classes. more

Good for self-enrichment 8/11/2005

This local community college has a wide variety of classes, even for those who are out of college or simply want to take courses for their personal enjoyment. I took the swim class through their PE department, and getting the change to swim in a large and well-maintained pool was very refreshing. Their pottery classes are also nice, mostly because it gives you access to kilns where you can fire your own ceramic creations. more

Great place to take a class for cheap 8/4/2005

Went looking all around for an SAS class. Taking directly through SAS would have cost over $1000. Found an SAS class at Ohlone for under $100. Class was pretty good - good enough introduction to SAS that i was comfortable enough preparing for the SAS certification exam on my own with a prep book and pass. Classes good for working people, as some are offered on friday evenings. more
