Fantastic Company 12/1/2011

I have worked for Nurses Unlimited now for five years but have been associated with them for 13 years professionally. I chose to accept a position with this company because I knew from experience that they were the best. Their first concern has always been the client, their care and keeping them safe and happy in their home. The staff are professional and caring. The company has been in business for 28 years and has grown due to the hard work and care that they give to all their clients. more

These people assaulted me 3/11/2010

A gentleman from nurses unlimited came into my home to interview me before setting up physical therapy. I was very specific as to my therapy... basic stretching and range of motion to keep my joints from freezing up. He nodded and seemed to understand. The next day, a woman by the name of Christie Gasser showed up and promptly ignored all of my instructions in favor of her own agenda. This triggered an exacerbation of my symptoms... I have primary progressive multiple sclerosis. After two days of me saying ""no don't do that"", ""no, it will make it worse""... I went from being able to transfer myself in and out of my power chair, and on and off of the toilet whenever I wanted to {at least a dozen times a day}, to not being able to make a transfer at all without assistance. I could no longer even sit up. Now I am faced with the choice of going into a nursing home or flying across the Atlantic to a civilized country, such as Switzerland, where they will help me to die peacefully. I am not going to check into a nursing home because my health care in Texas has been such that I know I would become the next nursing home abuse story. No thank you. Not to mention, they would take my home, stocks, savings, and everything else I own that is worth anything. ""Greatest health care system in the world""... that's what I keep hearing these right wing politicians say, and it makes my blood boil. I would be pleased if they could just remember the Hippocratic oath! Cons: Ignored my instructions more
