NOT WORTH THE CHEAP PRICE 9/19/2011

I thought that this place would be a good alternative since it is priced very reasonably and is close to the airport. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. I picked up my dog and she was infested with ticks! I could understand fleas more than ticks but I have spent a ton of time removing them and need to take her to the vet now to make sure she is fine. Please don't deal with what I am having to and put your animal through this. more

clean, happy dogs! 9/29/2010

Our beagle has boarded at Northport Kennel since November 2009, and is very happy and clean when we pick him up. The staff is excellent and they LOVE dogs. This last time when I dropped him off there, I was a bit surprised (pleasantly!) that our dog was actually anxious to go in--he truly has a "home away from home" at Northport! more

Great kennel 7/12/2010

We went on vacation for 2 weeks and left our very nervous lab Riggs at Northport. When we picked her up she was in great shape! We like the fact that Northport employs special needs adults who do all the playtime.It was very obvious that she recieved alot of attention, as she was very attached to the lady who brought her out to us.We were also pleased with how clean she was and looked cute with her bandana after her bath. We were very Happy! Thanks Northport. Pros: Clean,Friendly,Reasonable price Cons: none more

You get what you pay for 12/31/2008

Probaby the cheapest place to board your pet in San Antonio, but it is definitely not the best quality. They returned my dog bed in a plastic garbage bag because it was soaked with urine and feces. Had to just throw it away when I got home and it makes me wonder if they even took him out of the cage twice a day like they said. Also, they don't allow the dogs to play outside for hours like other places. Pros: Cheap, Close to the airport Cons: Cleanliness, Customer Service, Organization, Concrete floors, Loud more
