The NIU teams are sometimes good, sometimes bad, but always fun to watch. The ticket prices are reasonable, since they aren't a TOP tier team, and the people in the stands are usually very enthusiastic and make you want to cheer, too. Great place to bring kids to have a college-sports viewing experience. more

This is a great state school. They are known for a lot of their really rigorous programs. The student body is definitely huge as is illustrated by the huge class size. But that does not hinder the quality of education of this school. At this school, you are bound to meet some great people and get a good education too! more
