I am usually not ""that guy"" who goes online to express their disgust when dealing with a poorly run business. If I get a bad haircut, I smile, say, ""thanks"" and then go get it fixed by another barber. If my steak gets over cooked at a restaurant, I still eat it, and I still tip my server. But, unfortunately, everyone has their tipping point and Northeast Studios has found mine. Since I am already wasting valuable time, I will keep this simple. We got pictures taken on Black Friday at Price Chopper in Rutland, VT. WE selected the proofs the following week, and were told that after we paid in full, we could pick them up with a week to spare before Christmas. We were not contacted at all. Once we got a hold of someone, we were told that in order to get our pictures we would have to pay $7 to have them shipped, or drive to ALBANY, NY to pick them up. After 2 Full weeks of phone messages and e-mail correspondence, they finally decided to send the pictures and not charge the $7 fee. Not once was the poor service acknowledged or apologized for. Its not that this place is special but this place makes YOU feel special. The photos are of excellent and prime quality and material. The whole situations screams doing it again when there back next year. Oh and best yet there prices are unmatched. Thank You brian and the rest of North East Studios!!! First of all they sell you a $10 offer for a 10X13 but they purposely pick a picture with bad positioning in hopes that you'll buy the good ones in their $289 package. These guys are theives. They are not to be trusted. They never pick up their business phone just thought that was also worth mentioning. Cons: tricked into spending mega bucks more

I just had our family photos done at the Price Chopper in East Greenbush, beautiful pictures. I am so excited to pass out my photos for the holidays. I initially signed up for the 10x13 introduction offer for ten dollars, then they told me it was a 7seven dollar sitting fee, for my entire family and Im used to paying per person for my sitting fee. The prices on the packages were very inexpensive, and I was quite surprised for such great pictures. Pros: everything was perfect more

they scam you into more money the day i saw them up at price chopper the told me 10.00 and i said OK we did the pictures then when it came down to pick them up they first said 40.00 a sheet and my fiance said i wont get them for that pricew when all was said and done they made 108.00 off me i will never get any more pictures for them nor will i donate any more money Pros: ok pictures Cons: they are con artists more

Paid for pictures and sitting fee, went and bought new shirts for husband and son, showed up and they were a no show. I think that all of us that were ripped off by these people should get together and get justice!! If anybody is interested in joining together against these people please email me. They have enough of our money to get a good lawyer. more

Rip Off, Came to Utica Area and had people in Price Chopper trying to sell picture appointments, w/ free 10X13 offer. for $16, including sitting fee. Made appt. pictures were taken in breakroom of price chopper. Went back to pick them up and prices were outrageous!!!! $40 per sheet, every package was $200 or above!!! The promotional picture was the worst shot! Never again! I wished that I wouldv'e read these reviews before going! more

Quite frankly, they don't even deserve one star. I had an appointment for a family portrait with myself, my husband, and my 2 daughters. We were all dressed up (which is no small feat, as they are quite young), and got there in plenty of time. No one was there! I made the mistake of paying in advance, and have as yet been unable to get ahold of anyone. Avoid them at all costs!!! Cons: all of them! more

I am so angry about my experence that im on here for the first time to review my experience.I brought my 2 girls to get there pictures done and they got rushed right out of there and the pictures came out like crap.The photographer was rude and very pushy because he had to go to the bathroom.my 2 month old was crying because she didnt like the pose she was in and he wouldnt do anything different.i will NEVER get my pictures done there again.and on top of that to get a single sheet it was 40.00,for a crappy picture.Thats nice that since he had to go to the bathroom my pictures a re horrible.
