Hey, Its all We've Got 8/21/2005

The Norfolk Tides are a decent minor league baseball team compared to the other teams in our area, but hey, there are no other sports teams in the area. So, if you have nothing to do on a weekend and want to go get a hotdog and crackerjacks, then take a trip to the Tides game Tickets are resonably priced and there is a resonably priced sit down restaurant in the stadium. more

Norfolk Tides 8/20/2005

Want to spend a nice night out with the family?Take the family to Harbor Park to see the tides play. Harbor park is absolutely beautiful. There is so much more to do there than baseball. A beautiful restaurant is available as well as various food vendors. There is also various give aways and promotions. One week might be free bobble heads or the next free hats. Our favorite night is quarter night. All the hot dogs, soda and popcorn you want for a quarter each. Th downside is that the tides seem to be not doing to well this year.. No matter what though a great time is to be had by all. more

Great Park and Experience 8/20/2005

Harbor Park is a great place to watch a baseball game, it is considered to be the nicest minor league baseball park in the country. The tickets aren't going to cost you an arm and a leg, plus the Tides have been winning this past year so they are worth the price of admission right now. The best place to watch is from the picnic area in my opinion. The game is a good place to take the family for a day out. more

Entertainment For the Entire Family 8/19/2005

Seeing a Norfolk Tides game at Harbor Park is a lot of fun. Sure, it isn't the major league, but they do have some pretty good players on the team, and the games are something that the entire family can enjoy. The stadium is nice and well-kept, although its in downtown Norfolk so parking can be expensive. The concession stand is rather overpriced, but no more than at any other ball park. The tickets are reasonably priced at around $6 a piece for the cheaper seats, so you can take the entire family without going broke. Highly recommended for a fun outing! more

Take Me to the Harbor for a Ballgame! 8/18/2005

If you haven't visited Harbor Park you are definitely missing something. The ticket prices are modest for this beautiful baseball field. Being right on the harbor, makes for a great night. Occasionally, you will catch a big name, recouping, or whatnot playing for the Tides or the visiting team. The staff for the Tides tries to do things for the family such as having clowns, face painters, silly antics between the innings, contests, and so much more. There are even fireworks on particular nights. There is a restaurant inside for those who prefer to watch from the windows. This is a great baseball club. more
