Please Stop going too many people 5/19/2006

I love noble fish the best place in town Chefs are awesome and fun to watch work however there is a huge problem. This is selfish of me but I am tired of all the people there. I like watching the businesses i support succeed but now its 45 minutes of waiting just to get shoved in a corner behind some inconsiderate family that brings 2 strollers into a dinning area the size of a bathroom. There are 45 people chatting on cellphones and blue tooths. I think this is the best place in town to eat bar none. However the coustomers are ruining it. That and ace hardware is soo jealous they take 90 percent of parking spaces As for noble fish. best food, best prices, Pros: price, value, food Cons: too many people, too small, cell phone central more

Excellent Value 7/10/2005

OK, the sushi is ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS. Have the Michigan Roll, it's awesome. My boyfriend and I can eat here for $25, and be so full, we can barely stand up! That's unheard of at other trendier sushi places in the area. However, the hours SUCK, only open until 700. You have to wait to sit at an incredibly cramped table, too. So, order and take home for an awesome meal. They also have a large selection of pre-made sushi boxes if you want to stop in grab something to go. The chefs are awesome. Simply the best 4/2/2005

The hours may be bad, the seating unaccommodating, and you may have to wait - but this is the only place I can think of that can get away with it. The food and sushi is that GOOD. The secret is out and more and more are discovering the freshest and most expertly executed sushi in metro Detroit. I recently moved from Detroit and miss this place immensely. Noble Fish is out of this world! 8/20/2004

I am an interplanetary sushi gobbler. I have travelled throughout the solar system in search of the very best sushi. Needless to say, I don't have to travel very far from my homebase here in Michigan to find some of the best sushi created in the galaxy. As you walk in, you see the goods sold be the Earth inhabiting Japanese folk... colorful wrappers, fresh fish, strange looking candies... it all reminds me of my home planet Nyarlatonex. The sushi chefs are expertly trained and make probably some of the finest sushi i have ever feasted upon. The MIchigan rolls are top-notch and the green tea is always hot. If I want to score points with my sushi loving human girlfriend, I bring her to Noble Fish! Pros: sushi, location, groceries! more

Sushi Fast Food 7/23/2004

Great sushi! But the restaurant is at the back of a Japanese grocery store, so it is your regular sushi place. However, because its at the back of a grocery store, this gives the restaurant a distinctive characteristic. Im highly recommending this place. more

Best sushi in Metro Detroit 1/23/2003

This place is great. The best fish, best chefs and great prices. However, the hours really suck but Noble can get away with it. Also, the secret is out, because it can get pretty crowded, but well worth it. Some rolls to try: smart i/o, shrimp tempura, smoked alaskan, spicy shrimp special and of course spicy california. If you want to try something new noble fish is the place to go. with nice people and great sushi this please is a must! no only can you get some of the best sushi in town, but you can also buy food/drink items right from japan! dont waste your money on over priced mall sushi! get the best from noble fish! Noble Fish 11/28/2002

I have to say it's an excellent sushi bar. They've got tons Japanese food and other goods as well. You can even buy your own suplies for making sushi. The chefs are quick and the sushi is always pretty good. The best part is they're just about the cheapest in town. You won't pay an arm and a leg, plus they have combo trays that are very inexpencive, they're a great deal. Lastly, they've got great atmosphere, it's just like being in a Japanese sushi mart. more

Having spent time in Japan, I can tell you that this is the closest you will come to a genuine Japanese atmosphere in the Detroit area. Granted it is not fancy. You eat in the back of a grocery store. But the sushi is very good. Pros: tasty Cons: crowded more

This is the absolute BEST place to get sushi in metro Detroit. The fish is fresh and the sushi chefs are excellent and helpful. My only cons are the small resturant size and the hours. However, you go to resturants first for the food and this place is always packed. The reason: the sushi is the BEST. I go here for sushi at least once a week. Their sushi is the best I've found in the area - be sure to try the Michigan roll! Better to call ahead and take out since the dining area is VERY small and cramped. more

I stopped in on a whim this afternoon. I had to look around the store to find this wonderful gem of a sushi bar. After asking a man next to me (obviously a regular) for his suggestions, I tried the Michigan roll, California roll, toro and onion hand roll, and yellowtail nigiri. It was certainly the best I have had. From what the gentleman told me, One World market in Novi is owned by the same person, and the sushi there is also the same quality and value. I recommend getting there early for a seat at the bar for a wonderful experience. I was even given some superb green tea, on the house! Pros: Value, Taste, Atmosphere Cons: Restaurant size more
