Awesome Pizza 9/6/2009

I always defaulted to this place for a quality pizza... one day I ordered a pizza for delivery and the delivery boy was so lazy he refused to walk up the stairs to my apartment! If I wanted to walk to get my pizza... I would've walked down the street to Nizario's, wtf is that? Pros: best pizza Cons: horrible attitude more

Of the Fast Food Style Pizzas This is One I Can Stand... I Guess 9/7/2007

I grew up down the street from this place, so it has a spot in my heart. Here's what's good about this place, the prices are ridiculously good, 11 dollars for an extra large. It is similar to a New York style in and out pizzeria in that the guys hustle you but are strangely polite and that the pizza tastes good. I usually hate this style of pizza, but they do it right. Pros: Looks like a NY pizza dump, pizza is good for that fast food style Californians only know about Cons: If you think Blondies pizza is good, nothing I guess. You'll probably think you had the best pizza in the world here. You'd be mistaken completely. more

Really Solid 7/23/2006

Nazario's first and foremost an awesome deal, $2.50 to $3 for a giant slice. What makes Nazario's so much better then many other pizza places is their crust. Nazario's has a fantastic thick crunchy crust that holds up amazingly well despite the massive amounts of chease and toppings. The pepperoni and the pesto are my personal favorites along the Nazario's special. Most of all it really hits the spot any time of day, and it is much better than round table, or any other chain in the area, and I personally like it better than Pizza Orgasmica. Pros: Crust, composition, hours Cons: not much space inside (so not a big deal) more

This is one of the best places for late night munchies. The pizza is amazing. The pepperoni pizza is perfect with just the right amount of sauce (not too much). The cheese is ooey-gooey and the pepperoni is crisp, chewy and savory. It's open late, but does close at 2am-ish. So for those mid-night or after-drinking/partying cravings- head over to Nizario's. Nizario's is great for a slice or delivery - we also call ahead and pick it up on the way home. I wouldn't recommend trying to stay and eat there. Very reasonably priced, friendly staff and gooood 'za! Pros: Tasty, Good Service, Delivery Cons: Parking is tough, Best for "to go" more

If your debating on which good pizza to try, this place is great! it is probably the best pizza in SF! i have to stop buy Nizario's every fri and sat nights. late nights, this place is rockin! the food is fresh and tasty, the employees are very nice, and the place is just fun to go to. Something they can fix however is the looks of the stores and the seating. there is always way too many people for the geary store to handle on friday and saturday nights. they love their customers and thats why i had to praise them. If Mr. Nizario or his son are reading this, its me Alex! Keep up the good work guys and i hope you guys open up a few more places! See you guys on friday! This is the Best and the ONLY place to go in the richmond district for late night pizza. And the pizza is good too. If you are not on a date or are not planning on kissing any one, you MUST get the Greco. more

By the Slice! 1/19/2003

Was walking to a party and popped in for a quick slice of cheese, $2. The guy behind the counter popped it into the over for a minute or two and I was off. The slice was decently sized, with a nice layer of mozzarella and thin, flavorful tomato sauce. Crust is crisp but a bit chewy, just the way I like it. I would call it a good slice of thin Greek pizza... Pros: Yummy crust, Balanced cheesesauce Cons: Little or no seating more

The pizza here is the BEST I have had in San Francisco, or anywhere for that matter! I agree though that you get better pizza when you buy and eat it in the restaurant than when you get a whole pizza 'to go.' It's the best pizza place in the city at 2:00am or anytime! Nizario's has the most mouth-watering pizza ever!!! My freinds and I always go there after a night out ; even if we are all the way across own. It is worth it.
