Nikki's Gymnastics

After seeing all these old comments & reviews, I felt obligated to update some important information. Nikki's Gymnastics was sold almost 2 years ago and Nikki is not the owner anymore. The same office manager is still there (Sherri) and she runs the place. Sherri runs the gym like a well oiled machine. She is so amazing with the kids and the parents just adore her. I have been bringing my kids there for years and I have never felt more comfortable in leaving my kids in such good hands. Sherri is so thoughtful, easygoing, loving, kindhearted & such a hard worker. She has relationships with the parents and knows everyones names by heart. It's just nice to come to a place where someone is so friendly and really enjoys their job. The instructors are so sweet to my kids. They all get along and adore their Manager. They are all so great with the kids & all seem to love to teach gymnastics. My kids love to come to Nikk's every week and really enjoy their coaches. I give this place big thumbs up!!!! I wouldn't take my kids anywhere else!!! more

I will never take my child back there again. The place is extremely dirty, most of the instructors I found out are not actually certified, safety and my child's comfort level was a big issue. When I confronted the rude owner Nikki about my concerns she talked in circles and never actually did anything about it. But she was quick to remind me of her policy and that she had already charged me for the month and it was non refundable even if i didn't take the classes. I felt she had no regards for the children there and only cared about making money off of them. Classes were also way over crowded. NOT RECOMMENDED! Cons: Everything more

My grandson has been going to Nikk's gymnastics center for almost three years. In the years that he has attended classes there he has been very happy. He loves to take the classes because the instructors show so much warmth and attention to the children that attend classes. I have always found it to be a very clean and safe place for my grandson to go to. He has met some great little friends at Nikki's. I will continue to take him there for as long as he wishes to attend the classes. Nikki is a very wonderful and professional lady and I am very happy she is always on top of her business. I am so grateful we have a place that we can feel safe that our children will always be in good hands. May Nikki continue to be there for all the children that love to be active in every day life. My grandson loves Nikki because she is so kind and loving. I would highly recommend Nikki's gymnastics classes to any one that wants to bring their child to them. Keep doing a great job Nikki. My son has been going to Nikki's Gym since he was 2-1/2 years old. He is now 5. From the moment he began, he was welcomed, comfortable, happy and well loved by his teachers. He LOVES Nikki, who is always there to nurture the kids and make sure everyone is doing well. We have attended both classes and summer/winter camps and the experience has been great for my child. The teachers and office staff are always accommodating with make-ups and cancellations. My son has made many friends at Nikki's, has learned wonderful physical skills that he uses in other sports and daily life and he has never wanted to stop attending. I'll keep him there for as long as he likes, as I see him grow in a wonderful way in this loving, structured environment.\r Thank you, ladies for taking good care of my son. My oldest daughter has been going to NIkki's for 5 years and I would highly reccomend Nikki's. The self-esteem and coordination that gymnastics offers young children is well worth any price. As soon as I could get my second daughter enrolled in a class I signed her up and the progress she makes every week is outstanding. I really like that the classes are relaxed, easy going and allow the children to have fun and enjoy what they are doing. I have found all the instructors, Nikki and the office staff to go above and beyond to ensure all the children are getting the attention they need and that they are in the class that best suits their needs. I find everyone at Nikki's to be overly accomodating, I've even known classes to be created and changed based on parent wants, needs and feedback. I highly reccomend Nikki's. Pros: Everything! more

My daughter enjoys going week after week. She loves her teacher and her class and I love the staff. They are always accomodating to my needs and my daughter's. Whenever I take her, everyone is so friendly! I look forward for the years to come and watching my child grow into a little gymnast. Thanks, Nikki! My daughter has been going to Nikki's for a year and a half. This is the only activity that she wants to continue. She has grown to love Nikki and her instructors. I recommend this gym to all of my friends and family all the time. 2 BIG thumbs up! Pros: Instructors Cons: hmmm..don't have any! more

My son Nicholas has been coming to Nikki's Gymnastics since he was 14 months old. This has been the greatest experience for him to grow and develop his self esteem, adapt to social situations and just play and have a great time. The instructors are so well educated at the same are so loving and fun. We have had birthday parties and attended the camps. Again the instructors and the office staff are always there to help and teach. Nick has graduated a few classes and still loves to go every week and we stop in just to see his teachers that he used to have. My daughter started going to gymnastics when she was 7. She had a great time at Nikki's too. She is 17 now and she still talks about her teachers and how much fun she had going to Nikki's. Nikki is one of the most kind, loving and thoughtful people you will ever know. She loves children and cares about their well being more then any one I know. The review s that aren't favorable are not because Nikki doesn't run a well organized business. They are written by people that didn't follow the procedure and then didn't like it when they were told they would need to follow the rules. Moving to LA and having a toddler we were looking for fun activities. We found Nikki's gymnastics. Our daughter who is 2 1/2 gets wonderful instruction and attention. Each time she walks into the facility she is greeted by her teacher and the owner in such an enthusiastic manner, it is so wonderful. My daughter looks forward to her weekly class and has made some friends while attending. All the instructors are good with the kids, they set limits and have the class structured so that there is not a lot of ""down time."" In reading one of the other reviews where someone states that they ""charge your credit card monthly even if you do not attend the classes"" is specifically stated in the paperwork you sign when you enroll your child and the office manager specifically went over the policy with me when we enrolled. I would highly recommend this facility to any parent looking for a great place to send their child! Pros: class size, instructors, management more

I found Nikki's to be VERY disorganized and messy/dirty as well. There was absolutely no consistency with the class my daughter attended each week. We didn't know what to expect from week to week, until Nikki's ultimately did away with her class and merged her into another class with well over 6 girls. Needless to say, my daughter was so upset and did not want to attend any more. The class and facility was not nearly worth the amount we were paying each month. Be also aware of the ""policy"" in place. Nikki's requires your credit card on file and will continue to charge you every month regardless of whether you're actually attending any classes. I found this place to be very unorganized. Each class my daughter attended she had a differnet instructor, never allowing her to build a relationship with one person. Children at this age need structure and reputition there was neither one of these offered. The facility could be a bit cleaner. I understand it is a gym but at this age with plenty of germs rapidly spreading, cleanliness is ""a must"". The office staff was not very friendly ,ever, and they were not very flexible nor professional. The class sizes were extremely too large for the age appropriate group. How do you expect for 3 - 4 year olds to learn and have any structure when there are 9+ kids in each class? Bless the instructors hearts as they are all wonderful kids/adults.
