Planned a trip with my son's for a couple months . I live in the Valley and wanted to keep my business local . One son came up from Qrange county , the other from Pearl city Hawaii where was recently stationed after Iraq . It was easy to book the bike and I did four weeks in advance paid in full . When the day to pick up came , I phone the owner , after asking if we could pick up a couple hrs early . He quickly swore at me told me he would refund my $ and hung up on me. He did refund the money the following day . \r Would like to point out that it was agood exchange as I called Vacaville H.D. asap they had us on a better bike for $ 65.00 less a day and a 2k dep. not 2.5k . so we were able to rent a bike for another day and save $50.00 . My wife & I rented a Harley from Nieman's and it was the best experience we've ever had. We've rented Harleys from all over the world. His knowledge and great personality made us feel comfortable. The business has been there for many years and we will be renting from them again soon. We found him to be quite professional and the bikes are maintained beautifully. i personaly enjoy being around nieman he has great humor but when it comes to work he is the most relyible person\r being able to work with nieman make it easy to learn about morticycles\r i reccomend it because it is a good way to see napa just remember ......fill the tank befor returning Pros: fun more

My wife rented a Harley for the two of us to enjoy on my birthday during our trip to Napa. The rental went smoothly to begin with, we had a great time on the Harley (the V-Rod), and the owner, Mike, was very friendly. After returning the bike after our 24 hour rental, we were very happy.\r Then, we got a call 4 hours later informing us that there would be a $25 charge for gas, since we had returned the bike with less than a full tank. This came as a surprise, since he had filled the tank as we were renting the bike, and there had never been any mention of an expectation for the bike to be returned with a full tank. Along with the cost of the rental ($215), I was led to believe that a tank of gas was included.\r When I called Mike to explain the misunderstanding, I offered to return and walk the bike next door to fill it up. He was exceptionally angry with me on the phone and was completely unwilling to budge on the $25 charge, effectively charging me 4 times what it had taken for him to fill the tank (we returned it just under 1/2 full).\r In summary, the bike was a blast, but our experience left us questioning the honesty and integrity of Neiman's business practices.
