Nick's Garden Center & Farm Market

I have been shopping here for years, then I moved to Colorado Springs. I still make the 120 mile round trip. Sounds crazy, but sometimes you just have to get the best. I love the quality and selection. I think they cost just a bit more, but when you compare the plant to one from a home improvement store or Walmart you know it's worth it. They also have knowlegeable and friendly people there to help. I just love being there. more

Customer Service SUCKS. Had bought cucumbers to pickle at night time since its hot lately. Started cleaning the cucumbers and had a small batch done, enough for my brine. Had to leave to pick up my Father from the Hospital, was gone for approx. 2 hours came back and the cucumbers started growing mold. Greyish hairly mold... Went to return them today and was accused of keeping them in the garage, which has A/C at our house, as well as central A/C inside, in the kitchen... they did not get exposed to extreme heat or anything other then being washed. They argued in Spanish for 2 mins with Nick the owner, and nothing was said to me, I was shorted money, I had Dill to return as I cannot use it if I cannot pickle... This place used to be a gem in Aurora, now its like any other big business with crappy customer, drug dealer like customer service "I have 4 people to replace you, screw off" Is how I felt... Never will I shop here again more

Nick's is the best garden center in Colorado. They have by far the best customer service and knowledge of any center that I have visited, and I have been to many all over the state. They are friendly and great to work with. They have a family environment and it is fun to visit Nick's. They have live music on the weekends and a great farmer's market and chilli roasting in the fall. They also have great special events at the holidays - try Nick's before visiting other garden centers, you won't be disappointmented. They have a wonderful selection of everything and good prices also! more

Nick's has one of the best selections for plants & flowers I have seen in Colorado. They are also some of the best quality and prices here too. Their staff is very knowledgeable about the items they sell and can help you decide what may be right for you. They even sell some outdoor furniture.
