Good place to sit at the bar and see the beach and the boardwalk traffic. Extra jumbo shrimp cocktail and fair bar food . The food is not the reason I have ever gone thier its the view. more

Ate here for lunch. Had the clam chowder soup - not bad. Tried the raw oysters - the oysters themselves were fresh . So fresh they still had all the sea crud and barnacles on them. I have never seen such a horrible job in the preparation of shucking and cleaning. Actually some of them weren't even shucked!!! they werent cleaned there was so much crud in them. I also just so happened to see our waiter dump a bunch of dirty oysters behind the bar and then start shucking them as I wrote this review . No wonder they suck! LEAVE THE SHUCKING AND CLEANINGTO THE PROS!! more

Food is really poor. Right off the Sysco truck. Seems most items are frozen processed type food. We go for drinks- but do not eat. Once was enough. Service seems fine for drinks.Great spot near the Hollywood boardwalk band stand- so people watching is good. more

Ate there tonight, 1-12-11 with a group of 6. Food and service were beyond terrible. Our waitress did not understand us very well (we speak English). We had to point to the menu items that we wanted, and she still got them wrong. She did not refill our beers, we had to go to the bar ourselves and get them and we were charged for soda refills. Salads were okay, fresh, but the waitress couldn't even tell us what salad dressings they offer. Pretty much everything else was disgusting. The wings had barely any sauce on them at all, and what was on them was on the bottom of the plate.They are located on the boardwalk in Florida, seafood should be fresh, especially for the price, and it was all prefabricated food- the kind you buy in a bag frozen and then heat up or fry to order. We ended up paying around $25 per person with three appetizers, 1 drink each, and entrees. I got the seafood combo and it was just terrible. The crab cakes were pitiful, pretty much pureed crab meat with other unidentifiable ingredients, they looked like they were breaded and then deep fried. I smelled it and was scared. Do not spend your money there! Don't even waste your time! more

Ok we arrived to Nicks with 4 adults and 4 kids. The kids requested grilled cheese tha was not on the menu. I asked the waitress and she said no, then I asked to speak to the manager and he said no that they were to busy. That would have been fine but he was very rude about the situation. I would not suggest Nicks to anyone looking for a nice place to eat on the beach. more

Stop in with every trip to Hollywod. Great beach pub! Need to try their steamed claims with a cold beer and Sea Breeze blowing. Hard to top that and prices are a steal. more

Best watering hole in town...great food, drinks and fun..live entertainment 7 nights a week, satellite sports packages on 15 plasma tv's...open everyday till 4am..full menu...right on the ocean more

i've been working here for the las five years and i love it, great people, great view, great food, great times..... the best oyters in town, the best drinks, of course i make them, and very good service. Pros: ocean view Cons: don't know more
