Interesting hotel 10/12/2012

This is a cool hotel to kinda walk around in. Very dark in there though, I've noticed. I've been to New York once, and it IS a bit dark around NYC, because of all the high buildings. Anyway, this hotel is really cool to walk around, but it can be easy to get turned around in there, or end up being in the same areas. more

The Big City in Sin City 4/13/2006

New York, New York is truly a New York experience but it's in Las Vegas! Within a couple feet of entering the hotel/casino, you are surrounded in a New York environment. For example, there are graffiti and sticker tagged trashcans like in New York City. They even have food from New York including New York style pizza and the famous Nathan's hotdogs. There is also a roller coaster running outside the tall New York skyline which is just one of the several roller coasters in Vegas. more

Excellent hotel on the strip 11/1/2005

New York New York is a bit cheesy, but so is Vegas. A great hotel right on the strip, convenient to everything. It is huge, so be sure to ask for a room near the elevators. more

  • New York-New York Hotel and Casino's innovative facades re-create the classic Manhattan skyline, complete with 12 New York-style skyscrapers that house 2,024 guest rooms. These interconnected structures are approximately one-third the actual size of New York City architecture. The tallest building replicates the Empire State Building at 529 feet, 47 stories. Other icons include a 150-foot replica of the Statue of Liberty; a Coney Island-style roller coaster, a 300-foot long replica of the Brooklyn Bridge; and a replica of the Soldiers and Sailors Monument.

    Unlike any other Las Vegas property, this themed hotel and full service casino re-creates the ambience and excitement of the Big Apple. The uncanny realism of the New York theme provides pizzazz, color and energy to the property's larger-than-life 84,000-sq.-foot casino.
