I just read a shockingly idiotic and inaccurate depiction of Dr. Colbert from December 7th by Maria Charlotte. Do yourself a favor and strike her ridiculous, negative review from the record.
I saw Dr Colbert on December 7th too. He was with me for quite some time because he found my second melanoma. He as always was very attentive, thorough and caring. He does not give biopsy results of this kind over the phone. He makes a point to sit down with you and go over everything to schedule surgery and assure you that you are in the best hands possible.
I just had my surgery with him today. He made sure I was comfortable and performed the excision perfectly and painlessly and had me laughing on top of it.
He has now saved my life twice! The first melanoma which he caught (a year ago) had already been seen by another dermatologist only months before and completely ignored. Dr Colbert saw it, biopsied it, then excised it immediately to the tune of a practically invisible scar.
I see him regularly. He is always nothing but focused, attentive, positive, funny, extremely caring and precise. I am so grateful for him . He's by far the best, most dedicated and genuinely caring Doctor I've come across.
