New West Physicians

Office staff is unbelievably rude!! I've been going to this doctors office for years and until the last year have never had a reason to complain but to leave someone on hold for 15 minutes and to hang up on them because they won't cow toe to a receptionist is insane! Not to mention you can't even get in to the doctor for a month for basic exams and when you call to make an ""emergency appt"" you get told they can't help you for 2 weeks. If it wasn't for the fact that Dr. Castro is awesome I would've told the staff their to kick rocks a long time ago. After being hung up on I'm done with their crap. I strongly suggest you look elsewhere for your health care needs; the doctors may be good but the front desk is beyond rude ~ not worth my time or yours. more

We moved to the area recently and need to find new doctors. I was in a car accident on Tuesday so I need to find one quickly. I had an appointment with New West and was running late because my daughter locked herself in the car at Whole Foods down the street. I arrived and asked if they would still see me. Kathleen May - the lady my appointment was with - agreed to still see me. When she came in at 4:15 pm, she roughly told me she only had 10 min. and what did I want? She clearly did not want to see me--even though she agreed--and she kept insisting she only had 10 min, ""Do I want it or not?"" After going at it with her for a few minutes, I asked for my money back and a manager. It took 40 min. to speak with the manager. It was 45 min. before 5 p.m. plenty of time for an appointment. If your office is open until 5 - you should expect to work until 5. Horrible, horrible experience. I felt worse after leaving. If this is the type of people they hire, I do not want anything to do with the place. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!!! more
