Don't go without experience 6/19/2009

We rescue horses from New Holland as often as we can and we only had 2 that turned out to be unsound. One was a pony with moonblindness that came out of the slaughter pen, and the only was a small pony who was crazy sold by a red headed woman dealer (I wouldn't trust getting anything from her). Make sure you ALWAYS check the horses teeth for their age (they lie like dogs in the ring!), check their legs and hooves, and eyes while they are tied before they get to the ring. If you haven't looked it over first, don't bid on it. 90% of horses from there will end up with a horribly runny nose and a cough for a few weeks to a month. It normally goes away on it's on but cough free works alittle bit (over the counter), or spec-tuss from the vet works well for it. There is a high week and a low week, if you'd like more information on this auction please email me at mddycrkfrm@verizon. net Pros: Can get good horses cheap Cons: Can end in heartbreak more

Bad horse was sold SOUND!! Do NOT trust these people!!!! 11/3/2008

I bought a horse from it was sold SOUND [i have the paper work to prove it]afterr the bidding was over [i purchased it]i notice something on it's eyelid,SO i ask what is on her eye, I was told by the seller it was a wart [Do NOT trust Tiny, she is a dealer, she is very dishonest].But she was a loud to sell it sound, [Chris the owner over there new this tumor was there]for thoughs of you that don't no what sound is,it's when the horse is perfectly healthy. Well I took the horse home and notice that she wasn't feeling the best so I got the vet to check it out. The first thing the vet said is it's NOT A WART it's CANCER.I was very unhappy. Another thing she sold the horse as bomb proof also NOT true and also child proof NOT TRUE.I told her my 5 year old son wants to ride her and Tiny said o'yea he'll be fine again NOT TRUE.This upset me because she would have just let me put my 5 year old son on this horse that is NOT bomb proof.Well I called Chris, the owner and he told me to bring the horse back and we will get the horse checked out by the vet so I got there and right away he said we sold her with a tumor, which i have at least 10 people to testifie that he DID NOT. I would have not bought this horse had i known.I wanted a SOUND horse. I told him i don't want this horse and he said well than sell it, now keep in mind every horse that is sold he makes money. He didn't care about me AT ALL he wanted the money.I talked to Tiny about it and confronted her on the eye and she ended up walking away and cursing at my husband{don't no why he didn't talk to anyone only i did].Well i ended up selling the horse the same day and i was discribbing the horse and Chris stepped in and said she is bomb proof and the owner before me had her for 7 years, this was NOT true, .not all the dealers over there are bad but i know Chris and Tiny are the most dishonest. He gives 1 week if a horse is sold sound i guess depends who you are.I lost lots of money on this horse because i told thr truth. more
