Nautilus Plus OC

This place is unbelievably filthy. The pool has algie and there is filthy black mold around the pool decking. There are corroded metal gaps around the metal doors where mold and scum collect. There are black bugs hanging out around the pool. Showers, yuk! A manual suit wringer that I don't believe they've ever cleaned, hair and moldy showers and that's just the pooling and showers! I can't believe the health dept. doesn't shut them down! Equipment filthy! Ugh, don't go here! more

This place is bad....creepy and dirty place. Dudes in the men shower room laying on the couch naked like a gay sex club. Each time I came in they had new regulations that would cost more to come into the club. I wanted a place to have my wife, me and my 5 yr old daughter swim. My wife stop going there because it was nasty. I paid one year in advance, what a mistake. more

I have been a Nelsons Member for years, I have to keep re-signing up because I keep moving out of the area, then I move back. I have never had a problem. They always welcome me and give me the same great deal. I am a lifter and there is no other gym that combines a friendly environment and a serious lifting experience all in one. While there are allot of great looking people here, it is not a typical meat market gym. I always have the feeling I am a part of a great group of healthy people. I go there to escape. No other gym like it in Portland Metro area. This Gym is like a Golds Gym before they sold out!!! The new owner Johny is a great business man and you can tell he is making positive changes. I do have to say that the Oregon City Location is the true gem, but the Milwaukie location is getting much better. Great Staff! I Show up every morning around 5 am and a gorgeous woman greets me every morning, and says goodbye when I leave, what more could a guy want? more

I had joined with the location in Oregon City and signed a 1yr contract. They never provided a copy of the contract to me. So my 1 year membership was up and they had continued to charge my bank for monthly payments, as if I still had a membership. When I called to see what was going on the manager explained that I had 7 day after my 1yr was up to cancel (which was in the contract I never received) and if I did not send in a cancellation request that my membership automatically renews. They were not willing to refund the charges. So with what I said, be sure if you sign up with them to get a copy of the contract and pay close attention to the verbage in the contract or they will just continue to renew your membership and not refund any charges. Better Business bureau, here I come... Pros: convenient Cons: Bad business practice more

I picked this gym because of the reasonable price and the fact that they offered daycare. They have several locations around Portland ,so one would assume that each location would be consistent with their amenities. sorry no go! When we moved to Sellwod the Milwaukee location was more convenient ,but as it turns out they don't offer daycare and won't cancel my membership unless i pay half of my remaining fees. This is just one of the many issues i have had with this gym Pros: decent equipment pool etc Cons: inconsistent services from location to location more
