We drive from Jackson which is an hour away with 5x the populace. Neil's is the best bar-b-q around and the fixin's are are yumee!

This place gets boring after a while.. 6/29/2006

Neil's is a good place to go if you're with your family. Their BBQ is pretty good, but like my title says, their menu is rather boring. It'd be nice to see some variety in their menu. Getting drinks refilled is pretty hard sometimes, and the servers never check to see how you're doing. Either they need to hire more servers or need to improve their current servers' ethics'. Overall, if you're looking for a semi-casual BBQ place, keep this place in mind. more

Neil's Barbeque 4/5/2006

Not a bad restaurant for your craving for BBQ. Their sweet tea is fantastic and worth just about anything else you deal with. I am not a huge fan of Neil's for several reasons. First there is no non-smoking section in the restaurant. No matter where I have been seated there have been smokers at the next table. For that reason alone I do not eat in at Neil's Secondly their staff is o.k. most of the time, but watch out for the rest of the time --unfriendly and bordering on rude. more
