Navis Pack & Ship did an Outstanding Job! 1/28/2011

Hi Melissa,\r \r Thanks for the outstanding job you and Jacksonville Navis Pack and Ship did in moving two pieces of furniture from our home in Florida to relatives in Texas. We appreciate the fair price you gave us (which you held to throughout), that you showed up on time to pick up the furniture and delivered it on the promised date to our relatives? home. The men who handled the furniture at both ends were extraordinarily courteous and professional. The furniture arrived without a scratch and, as promised, they put it exactly where our relatives wanted it (second floor no problem). The next time we have a need for moving a few items or many we will go to Navis without hesitation!\r \r Steve more

Prompt Response and Great Service Go a Long Way! 1/28/2011

Hi Melissa:\r \r I just want to thank you for arranging the move of our piano from Dover, Massachusetts to Winter Park, Florida. It was received here in good condition yesterday afternoon, 12/17/2010, and all is well.\r \r I had tried to get information from Daniel Wiechman via the Internet (his office is in Greenwood Village, Colorado at your headquarters) starting on 10/1/2010. After three requests for blanket wrap shipping over a period of two months, I gave up and called you directly on November 29th. \r \r I certainly appreciate your prompt response and good service.\r \r Thank you so much!!!\r Carole Moreland more

Exceptionally "Flawless" Work Done by Navis Pack & Ship of Jacksonville 1/28/2011

We recently commissioned a painting entitled ?Christina? from the famous artist Peter O?Neill. The painting was featured on your Facebook site recently, with our consent. We considered driving from Ft. Lauderdale to St. Augustine to pick up this beautiful painting so that it would not get damaged, but the studio recommended Navis Pack & Ship as a trusted shipper for fragile fine art. Comparing the price to have it shipped and that of driving, hotel, gasoline, and meals and the price was much the same. So we took the easy method and shipped it. It arrived without a scratch, dent or flaw of any kind. When we opened it we found that the painting was first wrapped in a soft but sturdy padded paper, than wrapped in bubble wrap and finally placed in a solid cardboard box that matched the painting perfectly to avoid movement within the box. Great job Navis. Oh by the way, the staff that we dealt with was super!\r \r Christina more

Prompt and Helpful Service 1/28/2011

I shipped two items of furniture to my daughter in San Francisco. They were not large enough for Suddath Moving Company to handle, so they referred us to Navis. We received prompt and helpful service from the Bonds at Navis, especially with assisting us to decide how many items to ship, and cheerfully and quickly running a number of different estimates for us. The furniture arrived in good condition, with good service on the receiving end as well. more

Fine Art: A Navis Pack & Ship Specialty 1/26/2011

Dear Melissa,\r \r I want to thank you and the Navis Team in Jacksonville for the great professional packing & shipping service you extended to me during my recent purchase of fine art from the St. Augustine / Jacksonville area. The items were packed with great care and in packaging that protected the contents very well. I was always kept up to date from your office in Jacksonville on the packing, the shipping, and the delivery of my art. I also greatly appreciated the photos which you sent me of the items before they were packed and immediately after they were packed. It made me feel as if I were your most important customer. My art arrived in great condition and on a timely basis. \r \r Thanks again for making this experience as pleasant as the experience of enjoying the art itself. \r \r I will be sure to use Navis again when I have such packing & shipping needs and will always feel confident about recommending your services to others. \r \r Best regards,\r George Saad\r Minneapolis, MN more

HONEST AND EFFECIENT 5/21/2010

Dear Jo Ann:\r \r Thank you very much for getting these machines en route to me. I really do appreciate your extra efforts in following through with YRC. It?s hard to believe that FreightQuote could have been so inept. This was a journey for me from the beginning to a hopeful end of receiving my machines intact. From the first time I spoke with you I had faith that you could make it happen. \r \r Again, I sincerely appreciate your attention and concern regarding this matter. I will certainly refer your to Stan Nagle of Energy Seal in Jacksonville and ask that he pass the good word on to his business contacts.\r \r You have a great weekend and thanks again.\r \r Sincerely,\r Gary Henneberry\r Maine more

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SVC AFTER MY PACKAGE WAS DESTROYED 2/6/2010

I paid $159. for shipping and handling a shadow box collage I made...not much money to some, but this was a special gift for someone supporting my mom and I through our times of financial distress. When I read NAVIS website they advertised they ship artwork for museums and hard to ship items.... I worked so hard on my collage shadow box I was afraid it would arrive in pieces. Cons: I kept hearing them say "it wasn't out fault" more

Excellent Sales and Service 6/9/2009

Melissa,\r \r Thanks so much for your help and follow ups. We won't be shipping it and may try to do it ourselves with team work, costing us hopefully less than $100 (truck rental). The piano is from 1950, in not that great shape and worth only $300-400 so shipping for $800 isn't practical. So sorry it took me so long to reply - way too much going on around here. Nevertheless you are an excellent salesperson - keep up the good work. \r \r Loris H. more

Overwhelming Generosity 6/9/2009

Dear Miss Jo Ann and Family,\r \r Thank you for shipping my dad?s lion to me. After my family listened to the Chronicles of Narnia series, I could only think of the great lion, Aslan, when I saw my dad?s lion. I wanted the lion after my mom died, but couldn?t figure out a way to get it to Idaho. When my dad died and we went back to the house again, he (?Aslan?) was still there, as though waiting for me to take him home.\r When my brother told me of your generosity I was overwhelmed and extremely grateful. Now ?Aslan? sits on my front porch as though he has always been there and seems to me like a father, guarding the doorway of his children.\r \r Thank you so, so much!\r Melissa (Lavallee) Ripley\r Idaho more

A Very Positive Experience 1/13/2009

Dear Melissa, We had a very positive experience and I'd be happy to share. However, I was the recipient, so you may wish to also hear from my mom, Donna Heffner, who shipped to me. She is cc:d on this email."We were on the receiving end of a relatively small shipment that was too big for UPS and too small for traditional residential movers.Navis fit the bill perfectly! They promptly provided several estimates for our shipment based on various scenarios we gave them, as we were unsure of how many items we wanted to have shipped. Our cross-country shipment arrived right on time (and quickly) and everything was well-packed and in excellent condition. We were very pleased with their service." Exceptional Service 1/13/2009

I paddle a type of sea kayak that I consider to be the 'safest on the high seas'. (if interested: a SKUK 'Explorer' sea kayak)I was planning a paddling trip up the coast of Australia. At the time I was planning my trip, the sea kayak I use was not available in Australia. So I had to purchase the boat here (the US) & have it shipped to Aus. I looked into shipping it via airfreight and couldn't find any good info (and knew if I did - it would be very expensive, though faster). (The sea kayak is about 18' long and less than 2'x2' cross section.)So I could either paddle it there (just kidding, though people have paddled across the Atlantic, and from the California to Hawaii) or ship it on a slightly larger boat.I contacted goNavis, and inquired about shipping my oddly shaped - and delicate item. Jo Ann was quite helpful in arranging to have it shipped - safely (this was a major concern of mine - I had images in my mind of a forklift 'spearing' the kayak, or getting crushed by a container of more
