Worst Company/Vendor Ever User 4/4/2010

I work with a large corporation that offers relocation often as part of an offer agreement. And, in all the moves we've done, across the US, this is the absolutely worse experience I've ever had, not only with moving companies, but any Company or vendor I've ever dealt with. From shady business dealings, like out and out lying, to just horrible, immature, and shady customer service, like not picking up the phone when I call from a number they recognize, to just be put on hold for 20 minutes + only to call from a different number they've never seen and get assistance immediately. I do not have the time or space to detail all of the trouble we, as a large corporation moving a new employee, had with this Company and their vendors from the very beginning. Even now, well after the items have been dropped off, we are still battling. BE AWARE, and go with ANY moving company other than this 3rd party service. Absolutely the lowest and most corrupt vendor I've ever dealt with, in any vertical. Living a nightmare b/c of Nationwide 3/15/2010

My husband, 11 month old and I were transfered across the country because he is active duty military. Our items were picked up 6 weeks ago and the moving company hired by Nationwide showed up late, with only 3 people to pack our huge house. The truck they brought was not big enough even though we told our moving rep Shane Young that we needed a full size semi and at 10pm that night the garage was still full but so was the little truck they brought. They said all our stuff would eventually make it to NJ to be consolidated and then it would ship to Alaska. Our arrival window at our new location was supposed to be mid March. Well, it is now mid March and the company they hired (Cross Country Van Lines) is bankrupt and has abandoned our stuff in a warehouse they rented. Nationwide has known about this for over a month and their only response (when they respond to our calls and cries for help) is that they are working on it. All of their excuses for our items still being in the warehouse are moot at this point and we have no option but to conclude they are too cheap to shell out the money for a reputable moving company to do the right thing and get our stuff to us ASAP. I can't understand how these people can sleep at night. My husband unexpectedly deployed overseas and I am left in Alaska with my baby and no home, no furniture and no honest answers. My husband is fighting for our country and shouldn't be worrying about his family or the belongings he worked his whole life for. Nationwide Relocation services did a great job from start to 2/21/2010

I recently moved from Ft lauderdale Florida to Long Beach california and i must say the experience was unexpected. I received a call from Steve Eagle over at Nationwide who took inventory of what i was moving and gave me a price over the phone. I ended up going into the office to sign my paper work and i must say its not what i expected, it was a nice office building (very professional). Superb move 2/3/2010

I just want to say Thank you to liza my sales rep. at nationwide relocation for helping us with our move. We moved from New York to Fort Lauderdale last month and they did a good job by me and my family. With three children and a husband is ain't easy when moving, but nationwide did good. My pick up and deliver was on time like clock work. I thought they would be late thinking about the weather and just after the holidays, but they surprised me. Marvelous thanks in a million. more

Good moving coordinator 1/21/2010

Moving Order: 4652858-01 – Pick-up December 29th, 2009 – Delivery January 3rd, 2010. After learning that Nationwide was not an actual van line (like Allied or United), I had serious reservations about the move. I have been a party to many long and short distance moves and this was the first time I had worked through a facilitator to coordinate the move. Frankly, I did not believe they would represent my interests with the contracted van company as well as I could. I can’t speak about all facilitators, but Nationwide has made me a believer. Except during his vacation, my estimator, Sean Boxer, made sure I was kept current on the move’s status. The contracted van line, A-Tops, arrived to make the pick-up as scheduled. Due to logistics surrounding my new home and the start of my new job here in Knoxville, the only day that would not have required me to take off work was Sunday the 3rd. Even though Sean and the rest of the staff at Nationwide tried to assure me that everything would be done to have the shipment delivered on the 3rd, they stopped short of making a guarantee. Up until the 3rd, I had fears that the contracting van line would exercise the far end of their contracted delivery window (the delivery window was from the 2nd to the 5th). In the end my fears were unjustified; A-Tops showed up on the 3rd and made herculean efforts to get the truck into the very tight complex where my new home is located. It has been two weeks and I have now unpacked every box and inspected every piece of furniture; with the exception of two very minor furniture blemishes and one inexpensive broken glass, the move was flawless. This was probably due to the fact that almost every piece of furniture was wrapped in protective pads and extra care was given in protecting all the furniture’s glass elements. The attention given to my household goods by A-Tops was equal to or better than any move done for me in the past by the major van lines. If I have a need to move again, I will most definitely consider having Nationwide facilitate the move. PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE USING... 1/19/2010

I made the mistake of using Nationwide Movers and it has been a two week nightmare that will maybe end tomorrow. Make sure their price is in writing and do not take anyone's word for it. This was my fatal error, trusting. Their customer service is the best at avoiding calls and that ETA on my furniture was like their pick up. I received a two hour notice a full day ahead of schedule. For your peace of mind and your pocket book, look elsewhere for a mover. Well, I received my furniture and my worst fears were realized. Shattered furniture, broken coffee tables, cracked kitchen tables, cracked head boards to list a few. Almost everything was scraped and gauged and I had a 250 pound TV solid wood stand that was cracked in the center. ABLE MOVING, based out of Chicago Illinois, worked in concert with Nationwide in destroying my furniture and now they are willing to give me 60 cents PER POUND, which addds up to nothing. Very Pleased 12/5/2009

I spoke with Julian at Nationwide for my move fro, Delaware to the south florida area. He was a fun to talk to and on top gave me a good price. I hadnt hired someone to move me before so for my first move it went really well. I got my stuff pretty fast and anytime I had a question he was there to answer it for me. Would definately use again. more

I hired nationwide to move me from NC to CA for my recent transfer. i spoke with sean and he gave me a good price, wasnt the lowest, but it wasnt the highest either. He was able to let me know what o expect. The guys that moved me were great. Manny and his crew worked all afternoon to make sure that i was out by the end of the day. My move with Nationwide Relocation services was less than satisfactory. The moving specialist assigned to our move grossly under estimated the weight in our house which lead to us having to pay 3 times the amount initially promised. When the contractor hired to do our move arrived, they took longer than promised, did not carefully pack any breakables, and blatantly lied about not being able to communicate with us. Our moving specialist was rude on the phone when we tried to resolve all of our matters, and nothing has been settled except that the movers got more money than they should have. Julian Jamarillo, our moving specialist, needs to be investigated for his telephone behavior. He laughed in my ear, spoke to me disrespectfully, and when I asked to speak to a supervisor, he told me he was "his own boss who" makes "his own hours". I do not appreciate this treatement from my 5 year old, nor any person who refers to themselves as a professional. Dental Implants- Best cosmetic Dentist 10/26/2009

I recently had dental implants at Plano Smile Studio. I had researched online and visited several other offices before I made my decision of who I wanted to do the procedure. After speaking with Dr. Hucklebridge I was completely comfortable that he was the doctor for me. I never felt rushed with Dr. Hucklebridge as he answered my numberous questions. He is extremely professional, friendly and knowledgable. He also speaks to you in ways you can understand the procedure instead of doctors language. He offered me several different options that all made sense. My surgery went great and my end result looks and feels awesome. Great service by All Coast Transportation 9/20/2009

since my origiginal review I would like to say that my parents furniture has been delivered, all, intact and the company was All Coast Transportation. The two young men who delivered the items, Robert and Lonnie, were terrific, and anyone who has the good fortune to have them as the delivery agents will find them professional, courteous and hard working. What the home office was lacking in was more than made up for in All Coast's employees. Since these companies are basically service companies I hope they are aware of what assets these two young men are. more

Freightening! 9/19/2009

I feel like I'm having a nightmare. My parents contracted with this company and so far all we've heard are excuses and lies from the movers. They say they will be here 1 day and then don't show up. This has happened for the past 3 days. Then they say the truck has broken down, but they can't tell me where it is? I have since read others having the same complaints. Although your company was the most expensive, I based my decision in awarding you the move because of your accuracy of moving weight and personal concerns. Dear Rich, I wanted to take a couple of minutes to write you a letter to commend one of your employees. His name is Tony Sparkman. I had the pleasure of working with this gentleman during the week of June 26, 2008. This was my first time arranging corporate transfers of automobiles. I needed to make arrangements to transport four automobiles, two to Chester, VA, and two others to South Jordan, Utah. Mr. Sparkman took the time to explain to me what the regulations were, what my options were, and answered the many questions that arose, in the couple of days it took for us to confirm the contract and make the arrangements. He was very patient, returned all phone calls or answered emails in a quick and efficient manner. He was helpful to our accounting department and the arrangements were made quickly and to everyone?s satisfaction. Not often enough, do people who perform excellent customer service receive credit.
