My husband and I went in for a pedicure 4/7/2012

My husband and I went in for a pedicure and we got a great foot washing our our toe nails painted. I can do that at home! There wasn't any scrubbing of our heels or callused areas. The staff even came to get more money from me when I didn't leave a large enough tip. Won't be going back. more

Great Nail Place 11/16/2011

I have been going to this nail salon for years and have NEVER had a bad experience. I am treated as a friend there by lovely ladies who indeed speak and understand English. Maybe some of the other reviewers just have little patience for other cultures. The massaging is an added treat. If it's a little too vigorous for you, just ask them to lighten up and they are happy to. They are conveniently located next to Noahs which is a great place to grab a coffee before going in for a mani/pedi. more

Wonderful place for a pedicure! 7/7/2011

I have only been to this place once when I was visiting my granddaughter in Beaverton and it was simply wonderful. I was able to choose from an array of colors and I was neither rushed or delayed to a station. All of the ladies spoke clearly and sweetly. At first I was a little hesitant to go here because of the past reviews, but I ended up loving this place. I felt like the massage was not harsh at all and my pedicure lasted for a long time. I also love the fact that the products they use are natural and it seems like they honestly care about their clients well being. Overall, great place. I might just visit my granddaughter a lot more often now! more

Massage, not pedicure 6/10/2011

if you are in the market for a relaxing, thorough lower leg and foot massage, or hand, arm, neck and shoulder massage, this is the place. much less expensive than going to barefoot sage or similar, and bonus! you leave with a little bit of polish that will likely chip off in the next day or two, but is still good for an interview or night out. if, on the other hand, you are looking for an actual pedicure or manicure, go elsewhere. terrible. probably the worst mani/pedi in town quite honestly. sloppy, polish chips, you get either destroyed cuticles or hardly trimmed cuticles depending on which ""technician"" you get, and nails aren't even evenly filed. so, as long as you know what you're paying for, you're golden. more

Nice and Cozy Salon! 4/28/2011

This place is definitely my favorite nail salon. I always go get a bagel from the Noah's Bagels next door and then walk in. I don't even need to make an appointment. (Although I recommend it because they are always busy) I choose a color from the rack and relax into a chair. I love how the products they use are chemical-free, so your nails own't have that bad aftersmell of top coats and such. I usually get a manicure and pedicure, so it costs around $40 with tip (which is cheap compared to other places). \r Before they even begin painting your nails, they give you a strong massage on your arms and legs. The lotion they rub on smells really good! The massage + spa chair is so comfortable and you don't have to move around (since the place is sortof small) to change from a mani to pedi. \r I always feel really pampered and the ladies are always smiling and asking if I'm comfortable. Friendly service AND good prices! That's a perfect combo for me. more

best mani & pedi yet! 5/15/2010

From the moment I entered this place they were making me feel so comfortable. They spend extra extra time giving massage to your legs, arms and neck/shoulders, which was such a bonus. They are also very thorough in their services and finish with perfection. I will be returning and only going here from now on. Pros: extra time allowed for long massage, thorough perfection! Cons: none! more

Rude service, Bad English 2/8/2008

I used to go to this nail salon - it's cheap, and I liked the massage. The problem I have is that I don't like getting my cuticles cut, the girls here are particularly aggressive and I ended up with swollen cuticle beds a couple of times after going here. Also, I like to get a French on my toes, but I don't like it when they use the brush freehand, they use nail polish to remove the extra and it makes the white part chip off almost immediately.\r \r So, I started asking them not to cut my cuticles and, when they do French, to use the wire instead of painting it on and taking it off with polish remover. When I asked the girl to do this she argued with me, then did it the other way and told me that it makes no difference. During the rest of my pedicure, the girl doing my nails and another girl in the salon were talking back and forth in their own language and quite obviously giggling about the ""demanding customer"" - it was very obvious and very rude. That was the last time I went. Pros: cheap, good massage Cons: rude service, painful pedicures more

Never Again 8/17/2007

The prices here are great. I will give them that. Other than that, my experience was AWFUL. The massage HURT. It hurt so bad. Maybe some people can take it, but not me. I was so close to making the woman who did my pedicure stop. I didn't want to be rude, but I wish I had told her. It was not relaxing. My friend got a manicure and had the same experience. They do not even have tables to do the manicures. For the manicures you sit in a chair and they sit on the foot rest while the give you a manicure. \r \r The sign on the window says they accept Visa and Mastercard. So I gave them my mastercard and the woman who worked there made a pouty face and said ""you don't have cash?"" I said ""no sorry, just the card"" and she gave me this look like I was wasting her time. When she gave me the receipt I asked if I could tip, and she said ""only in cash"". Basically there was no way to tip through my card. Then they told me to go buy something at one of the stores to get cash so I could tip them. Before I could leave, two other women who worked there told me to go guy something so I could tip her. \r \r I will NEVER go back here again. There are far better nail salons in the Portland area that have a similar price range. more

THE nail place! 8/15/2006

I have gone to this place numerous times *over 20* and i love it, the ladies are always nice the price is cheap, and you get a wonderful massage! This is defiantly a place i recommend to all my girlfriends, my boyfriend even goes w/ me sometimes!!! Pros: Price!! Cons: It's kind of busy....must mean it's a great place! more

Not so bad 8/17/2005

I can get crowded and the girls work fast, but the pedicures are thorough, relaxing and long lasting. The price for a pedicure is excellent considering all of the work that's done and the lower leg and foot massages are heavenly. more

Eh 3/24/2005

You get what you pay for here. I went a few times last summer, you get a long soak and semi decent massage but it's nothing to write home about. Pros: Cheap Cons: Crowded more

bad job 7/28/2004

I truly discourge everyone of visitng this place - it is a crowded hectic place. The always smiling ladies (who barely speak English) are constantly busy answering phone calls or serve several customers at a time. The work they do is sloppy, doesn't last long at all and overall is of bad quality. Spend your money somewhere else !!! more
