Yep, if you're buying, everything's great. If you need repairs, consumer beware. I'll start by saying every appliance in my house was purchased from Landis, including the six year old washer that now need repairs. Well four visits and two technicians later, I'm out $300 and the machine still has the same problem I started with. Now they're quoting another $325 for another part; and I'm not sure they actually know what the problem is. This has been going on for four weeks. They did offer me a ""credit"" of $161, representing the cost of the ""new parts"" they have installed to date, with the condition that they would return and reinstall the ""old parts"" and take the ""new parts"" back. By anybody's definition is this a ""credit""? Then they would proceed with the $325 repair, with the old parts that they removed because they were ""defective"" and then reinstalled as part of my credit. Following this? I will say that they did not charge me for labor for the 4th visit but again the problem isn't solved, the machine isn't fixed and according to them needs another $325 part. I can buy a brand spanking new one for this kind of money and in hindsight, I wish I had done just that - but not from them. Never again. So I walked away, lesson learned. Consumer beware. Cannot stress that enough. more

The Best! We have now purchased three of our five most major appliances from N F Landis. Our only regret is that we did not discover them before we bought the dishwasher and range. Our purchases of washer & dryer and new refrigerator proved that they have the best prices, the most knowledgable staff (Sales, Repair and Customer Service), the very best home service dept (regardless of how tiny the problem is) and the best, best extended warranty possible. Don't buy anywhere else!!!! more

They are always so helpful here. The sales people take their time with you and really show you what you are interested in. They are able to get the appliances to you quickly (sometimes the same day). Much better than a department. home improvement store. more

Every time I have needed an appliance I've gone to NF Landis. Why? Well my parents had always bought from them and they always had great experiences and service so I tried them too. I completely agree. The staff is polite, not pushy, and well trained. They carry quality products and the service people are very kind as well. I will continue going to NF and encourage others to go there as well. more

I have bought many appliances from many different locations, for many years, and this is the first time I have been this comfortable with knowing I got quality product and knowing I will have well trained and polite service people if I should need to call them. Places like Home Depot & Lowe's don't have service departments so I didn't have this peace of mind when purchasing from them. I was directed to N.F. Landis by local residents that have been thrilled with them for many generations. Thank you Landis Family. LAST WEEK I HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY RANGE AND I WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH THE EFFICIENCY OF THE SERVICE TECHS THAT CAME TO MY HOME. THEY CAME OUT THE VERY NEXT DAY. THE SERVICE TECH WAS VERY POLITE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE AND MY RANGE HAS NEVER WORKED BETTER. I HAVE PURCHASED MANY APPLIANCES FROM N.F. LANDIS & SON AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN SO PLEASED WITH THE HELP I RECEIVED IN PURCHASING MY APPLIANCES. IT IS SO NICE TO KNOW I CAN CALL THEM AND THEY WILL COME OUT IF I NEED SERVICE. I had bought my appliances from home depot, and when i needed service, they told me to call a 1-800 number, and it would take a week JUST to have someone come out to look at it. I was through with that. i got rid of my appliances and i kept on hearing recommendations on N.F. Landis and Son Inc.. I went there, and i was SO impressed with my appliances. i needed service on my refrigerator, and they were out that same day. I love the sales staff, the installers, and the servicers. % years ago I purchased a washing machine from NF Landis. I paid more than the local Home Depot, but I felt motivated to support the local economy. While the washer was working fine, I could get the legs balanced properly. I had Landis do a service visit. Pros: Local Cons: They Don't Care more

The showroom is nice, the sales staff is great, and the delivery and setup were flawless! Pros: Service, Selection, Showroom Cons: Price more
