I am in the Public Relations business and originally from NYC. I have ordered and eaten my fair share of NY Pizza off of 55 (next to Harris Teeter) and the pizza has been solid.....But this is where the good part of this review ends. After going on a Saturday night, and ordering 2 slices and a calzone to go...the girl who rung me up said 15 minutes. I was with my two young daughters and they were getting restless. To make a long story short, after 45 minutes, and nothing said from the cocky pizza maker/possible owner, I kindly asked for a refund and this mama luc gives me attitude. No apology, no coupon, nothing but a slap in the face to a paying customer who has recommended this joint to friends and family over the past few years. With that being said, I will NEVER give this rude establishment another red cent of my money ever again. I rather get crappy pizza served with a smile than being treated like this place is doing me a favor.
Drive up 55 a few more minutes, hang a left on N. Salem and head to Anna's for a pie that is not only better but the owner there is a gentleman to all of his customers and treats them with respect since we are the ones spending our hard earned money.
