It was a pleasure working with all the people at Certified Movers. It took several months from the time I first contacted them for an estimate and when I was finally ready to make the move. Over that time I worked with Alexander, Nick, Daniel and Nicole. All were most helpful, courteous and professional. I am glad I selected this company. Both pickup and delivery were on time with what I had been told. The driver that picked up my belongings was wonderful. The two guys who wrapped the furniture and loaded the truck did an excellent job. Everything arrived looking like it did when it was picked up. I did my own packing and not everything is unpacked, but the boxes and tubs arrived with no damage. I certainly appreciated the driver, who drove to destination; keeping me up to date on expected arrival time (I think his name was Paula but not sure). The person who was at the destination for delivery was impressed with the way everything was wrapped and with the way things were unloaded and put in the house. We hired Certified Movers ------ 866-386-4410 ? THE BEST BROOKLYN MOVERS. Packing team to pack our 3100 sq ft home. Amazingly, they finished by lunch. They confirmed the appointment for 7:00AM, in advanced, and arrived early! They charged an hourly fee, but the client gets to start the clock----- they unloaded the packing materials, got organized, toured the home, and discussed our special needs before starting the clock. The team of 3 movers carefully and quickly packed the entire home. Besides being careful, they asked appropriate questions about how to label boxes, how we wanted clothes packed (folded or hung); they used some of our left-over packing materials. This was a corporate paid move from New York to Baltimore, MD on April 30th of this year. We set everything up through Jennifer on April 15th and went over an inventory list and compared our in home estimates to that list and tweaked it over the next few days. Their quote was a little higher than one of the estimates and considerably lower than the other. We did not compile quotes from any other companies just the 3 mentioned and were pleased with all 3 companies more

These guys were the best possible company I could have chosen to move my family and I from New York City. We interviewed several companies in our residence and several others over the phone and via email. 3 van lines came out to our home to give us those estimates and their estimates were all over the map in regards of volume and pricing from 11,000 pounds all the way up to 19,000 pounds and these are the national chains including North American Van Lines and Paul Arpin being the highest in terms of weight. Great company, I used them twice Our family moved twice in two years using Certified Movers both times. The first time we were covered under a corporate move and the second we paid for personally. Therefore, I think we have an excellent perspective of this vendor under two common scenarios. To aid in the assessment of Certified Movers, I have evaluated the company on several key criteria: ESTIMATION PROCESS- In our most recent move, which we paid for ourselves, we had several professional national vendors come out to give us estimates. After hearing horror stories on the news, we felt more comfortable going with a larger company. But which one? Certified Movers had moved us once before and their estimate was neither the cheapest nor the most expensive. (In fact, Mayflower was most expensive, coming in approximately 15% higher than Certified Movers) The individual that provided the estimate was very professional, efficient and more than willing to bind the quote +/- 10%. This appears to be an industry standard among the nationwide vendors. PROFESSIONALISM OF MOVERS- The first time we moved, the corporate vendor of choice was Certified Movers. Their crew packed us and loaded our belongings in their trucks. The crew was fast but less professional than we would have hoped. Specifically, they rode some of our biking equipment though our hallways but most importantly they did not provide us with the high-value inventory sheet. Fortunately, there was no damage by the moving company to our home during the move-out process. In contrast, however, we found Certified Movers to be very professional, efficient and courteous. Though they did not pack us, they did an excellent job of loading our belongings. They were on time, efficient, and very professional in ensuring that our home was not damaged in the move-out process. Both Certified Movers's teams that moved us in did a very good job. They arrived within their delivery window, protected all major walkways with plastic and cardboard where appropriate, deposited furniture and boxes in rooms at my direction, and assembled all furniture to our satisfaction. SECURITY OF ITEMS IN TRANSIT- In the process of our first corporate move we lost 4 boxes and a painting (all losses totaling approximately $800). Notably, in the second move with Certified Movers 's we did not lose one box and could not find one piece of furniture that was damaged in the move. We were incredibly surprised and pleased. CLAIMS PROCESS- The claims process went completely smoothly with Certified Movers. We were reimbursed for the value of our goods. However, it should be noted that this move was sponsored by a large corporation. FINAL BILL- The first move was company-paid, so the actual costs were not disclosed to me. However, the second move which we paid for personally was exactly what Certified Movers 's had quoted us originally. Overall, we were incredibly satisfied with Certified Movers's Moving Services. In the first instance in which we lost belongings, they were prompt in processing our claims. In the second move, we received such exceptional service that we required no remedy whatsoever.
