Our 4 new adopted birds are happy and healthy! Chris came to our house, met our family/other pets and has placed 4 birds with us. The adoption fee was very reasonable because we received so many good things! 2 beautiful cages, 2 travel cages, perches, food/water dishes, a pile of toys, fresh fruit/veg., grit, cuddlebones, and of course 4 healthy birds. Chris and I are currently talking about us fostering other birds in the near future. He was very knowledgable about the birds and answered all of our questions easily. Very happy with the process we experienced and we love our birds! So happy we adopted and gave 4 deserving birds a new home. more

I had inherited a couple of parrots from a friend who passed away. They were both senior but one was well beyond life expectancy and passed away about six months later. I initially contacted Christopher to help me find a replacement mate for the other senior bird which he did with a fantastic guy! My problem was that my family could not stand the birds as they had only bonded to me, so resentment was growing. After a while, I had to contact Christopher again to help me re-home. He was able to take them back to his sanctuary where they are doing so amazingly well! Although I don't get to see them, Christopher provides me photos and videos of them. He's an amazing caretaker and you just know he loves what he does. I can't say enough great things about him and NW Bird Rescue. Very highly recommend! more

Great man. 3-16-2012 I called them at 4/7/2012

Great man. 3-16-2012 I called them at 8pm to help my mothers 8 parrots in a garage with no heat. They had been put in the garage 2 years ago and they were in pretty bad condition. Thanks to Chris Driggins who saved these birds. It was cold and rainy, and Chris came out at night and saved these poor babies from harm. My mother was hospitalized and we had no idea what to do. Chris save these birds and got them medical care and grooming, all eight are healthy and fine now, and we kept one because my daugther fell in love. Thanks, NW Bird Rescue : - ) more
