Every once in a while, my frustration w/ MM wears off and I return, only to be greeted with the reasons why I decide to primarily visit other Portland stores or order my music over the web. Repeatedly, I've seen promos clearly stamped by the distributor as ""not for sale"" with hefty price tags on them, and snobbish treatment by the staff when I have questions, particularly today, when the price tags did not equate to the advertised '20% off all DVDs month' sale. I was treated as though I was rude for asking for clarification. I'm all about supporting independent stores because I value the grassroots quality of music community, but MM kills that love. I'm not surprised that local record shops tragically continue to shut down if they treat music lovers in a way similar to how Music Millennium does.
Pros: Big selection of music, incense smells good
Cons: Snob city, rips off music lovers
