A great Irish Bar 3/4/2003

I have been going to Murphy's for 10 years. The entire staff treats me like family. The food is excellent, the juke box perfect, and I am always comfortable while sitting at the bar. In my opinion, one of the best bars in Manhattan!! ps Tony, the owner, is one heck of a guy!! Pros: Great staff, Great food, Nice location more

The BEST Irish pub in town! 2/13/2003

Great food, great service, great people. What more can I say? Tony and the rest of his staff make you feel right at home in this quaint little pub on 2nd Ave. A great place for after-work or a midday lunch. Not to mention its one of the best pints of Guinness in town! Pros: Service, People, Food Cons: NONE! more

Great place to relax and have a couple of drinks. The service is awesome with the great bartenders and the jukeboxis a winner!! Go for lunch, happy hour or for a night cap! more
