Wonderful experience. I called Monday morning, hoping to get my dog in the same day because he has been suffering from an ear infection since Friday. I couldn't afford any weekend vets. They got me in at 5:15, even better because I didn't have to take off of work. No wait, very friendly when I walked in. After explaining I couldn't afford a huge bill, they examined my dog & gave me the scripts for less than $40! My dog also has an accident from his nerves on the way out... courtesy fecal exam added with a follow up phone call. It's great to see there are still vets that aren't just about financial gain, but instead, the well-being of my furry baby! more

A Lake County Animal Officer showed up at my house and had me sign a 30 day comply notice and with my cell on speakerphone I called much vet and got Gator an appointment right away! Before the appointment even came she is back out at my house demanding that we surrender Gator or go to jail long story short This Vet I know she knows I am speaking of her in specific had insulted and hurt me so badly! I never have prayed for a soul so much because God knows that I love that dog and would do anything for him. but Money is the issue here. before knowing much she says I need $6000 IN FULL to get my baby Gator! I cry everyday a lot and moreso even at night as he was always with me I love u Gator and Mommy is still working on getting you back home where u should b\r more

Dr. Wayne and Mike are just awesome!! Our whole apartment complex goes to her. She helped our Lab/Dane Mateo beat Demodex Mange that he had when we adopted him. And like the others have said, the cost was reasonable which is good because we can't afford alot. He is now a shining, healthy 100 plus pound awesome dog.\r \r November 23, 2012\r \r Bandit got attacked at the park today. He's okay. He ran like the wind with a sprained ACL in his Knee and a sore spot on between his toes. He's on anti-inflammatories and no running for 10 days. Dr. Wayne at Murphy's Vet clinic in Sanford is as always...""Awesome"". And the visit along with the anti-inflammatories was just $41.00. \r more

Thank you for saving my dogs life!! 1/19/2012

I want to thank Dr. Wayne and all the staff at Murphy's Vet Clinic. My rescue dog had heartworm and I called my old vet and the said they would treat her with arsenic and it would be $800 to $1000 and she may not make it through the treatment. Dr. Wayne told me what to do and treated my dog with a much less harsh treatment, and one year later my sweet ""Lucky"" is heartworm free and free to live a long happy life with our family. Oh and the charge for this was about $125, way less than the arsenic treatment. To the person who said this treatment does not work, it WORKS!! But you have to do your part every month and give your dog the heartworm pill, not hard to do. Grow up and be responsable for your pet. I LOVE MURPHY VET CLINIC!!!! Thank you Dr. Wayne and Mike for saving her life and giving me many years with my best friend. more

!I think Murphy's is the best vet i have ever been too! 11/28/2011

I took my kitten there and she was so sick i didn't think she would make it. The doctor took such good care of her she is feeling so much better. I'm so happy with there services. There prices are very reasonable too. I love this vet it's the best vet i have ever been too. A++++++ more

Bring your wallet 11/3/2011

The vet is good, but the prices are sky high expensive. You won't get out of there for less than $125.00. There is no estimate before you have services, just a whopping bill at the end. Don't get me wrong, the vet services are good... but hello... a nail trim should be included in the office visit.. it's $11.00.. really?? That's crazy expensive. They also up charge you like a waiter would do in a restaurant do extra services that the pet really doesn't need.. and guess what? that's right, it's on your bill in the end. The average injection is $28.00 with a biohazard fee for each syringe.. three shots = $9.30 in extra fees. Again... the vet is good.. just take your wallet and lube before you go there. more

BEST VET EVER 10/1/2011

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Dr. Wayne has been treating my senior cat for quite a while. She was seriously ill, and she was able to treat her and add several years to her life. I fully trust her wth my pets. I have just gotten a new kitty from the animal shelter who is pretty sick. She is treating her now and we expect her to continue seeing Dr. Wayne for the next 15 year! Please do not retire, doc. The entire staff, especially Mike, are warm, loving and deeply care about the animals brought in to them. I can not say enought positive things about this vet clinic. A number of my friends at work also take there pets to Murphy. We All Highly Recommend. more

Get a new assistant! 9/9/2011

I've only taken two dogs personally to this facility and the vet, Dr. Wayne, seems great but her right-hand man, Mike, is nearly impossible to deal with. He is downright rude and has actually hung up on friends when they've called about dogs the vet was looking to re-home. He doesn't listen to your question, sounds frustrated in dealing with a client by phone and seems to contradict everything the vet says she'll do for the dog. The fact that their heartworm procedure doesn't seem to work for several dogs I've known that were treated there makes me wonder what exactly they're doing for the price they charge. More importantly, how can you trust your pet's safety to them after such a critical treatment when he's coughing several months later?? Heartworm is a disease you can't take lightly if you care about the animal - prolonged exposure only shortens their life! Add in one very uncaring staff member and all you get is regret for the money wasted. Not impressed at all!!!! more

Highly recommend 1/11/2011

We highly recommend Dr. Wayne. We have been using her for going on 6 years. She was recommend by a mutual friend and when we first went to her we thought we were going to have to put our beloved dog down, but she diagnosed something very minor and with medication our baby is still going strong at 15 years old. She is very straight forward and will take the time with you if needed. We adore Mike as he is always there for any kind of help or support. You can't please everyone-but we feel very fortunate in finding a vet that is caring and is always there for us. more

DON'T TAKE YOUR PET HERE!!!! 10/3/2010

I took my dog there to apply the rabies vaccines and while I was waiting for the doctor I suddenly see the door open and she came to the waiting room where I was with my dog with the syringe full with the medication and she applied the medication so fast that when I realized what she was doing I so the SYRINGE WAS USED AND DIRTY!!!! SHE IS NOT USING ESTERILIZED SYRINGES\r I will file a complain with the DBPR this can not be allow. more
