  • Muncie Public Library provides materials, programs and services on various knowledge-based topics. It is located in Muncie, Ind. The library s collection consists of more than 1 million volumes, including bound periodicals, educational books and on other various topics. Its collection also includes literary and scholarly works in various languages, history, art history, philosophy and musical scores and recordings. It also provides a variety of library programs and projects throughout the year. The programs include the children's summer reading program, author visits, newsletter postage and volunteer reception. It has various online resources, such as databases and electronic journals and books, sound recordings, video recordings and maps. It also provides art and entertainment, health and human services, education and genealogy and local history sections and an archive with a collection of rare books. In addition, the Muncie Public Library provides audiovisual equipment to its members.
