Mulligan's is definitely a local's bar. Even on a Wednesday during the Outer Banks summer season, there wasn't a tourist in sight. They have live music on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday in the summer, which is about the only reason to pick Mulligan's over another place. The local's scene is colorful, but if you didn't grow up in Nags Head, Kill Devil Hills, or Currituck, you might want to try somewhere else.
