A venue that is treated for excellent sound, books unique talent, and is stylish to boot. Roomy with smart separation that caters to both under and over 21 crowd simultaneously. Great local beer on tap as well! Cover charges are reasonable. Smoke control is nearly excellent. Beer prices are a bit high for the area. more

Eceletic venue 8/20/2005

Mr. Smalls is a recording venue combined with a skate park. The theater is compact, and can hold private shows. With a capacity of 550, Mr. Small's is a great place to see local talent. During the summer the park will host educational workshops plus regional and professional bike and skate competitions. more

Mr. Small's Funhouse is many things: a converted church, a skate park, a rock hostel, and recording studio. If you're not quite living the rock-hostel lifestyle, you should need to know Mr. Small's as a place to catch music. As one of the few thriving medium sized venues, Mr. Small's is a key place to find touring musicians when and if they stop in the Pittsburgh area. more
