I've been using Mr. Rooter for years and have always been happy with their service. Most impressive is that they show up when they say they will, evaluate your issue and give you a firm price before they start the work so there are no suprises and the job is done right! Mr. Rooter did a great job!! 5/12/2012

John was able to get to my house early and I was called the night before by the main office to confirm the appointment and the day of to let me know John was able to get to me early. John called me the day of the appointment to let me know he was on his way. Once he arrived we went over my clogged sewer pipe problem with roots being the possible problem. John quoted me the price and I was expecting it to be more. He fixed my clog, ran a camera down the pipe (same price quoted) to see a few roots and some low areas in the pipe. John also spotted a rusted pipe coming from the kitchen that need replacing. Once he measured the pipe needed, he quoted me that price and overall the total price was very close to what I thought the clog was going to cost me. The invoice showed a Member Rate (about 12 discount) and I had an Angie's List coupon for $30. John also left me a bottle of degreaser for my drains and a brochure for root kill. All great work!!! excellent service. knowledgeable plumbers. arrive when promsed. good folow up. The one time I had a problem they went out of their way to make it right. Very clear about what he was going to do! 4/16/2012

I called Mr. Rooter Plumbing of the Hudson Valley and explained my problem. Sewage had backed up in the rear of our house and Mr Rooter Plumbing of the Hudson Valley irrigated the line and cleaned up all the sewage. They then threw in the cleaning of it and disinfected the porch area. They did it within two and a half hours on a Sunday. They sent someone over, and the person arrived early, which was good! They called me to let me know that the person was going to arrive early. The person that Mr. Rooter Plumbing sent assessed the situation and answered any of my questions. He was very clear about what he was going to do, how much it would cost, and how long it would take. I used an online coupon by just showing him the website instead of having to print it out. I know when Jean comes to my house that the work will be done efficiently and with fine attention to detail. He remembers work that has been done previously in my home, which makes his recommendations very trustworthy. He is pleasant and tidy and I am always happy when he is available to answer a call. Whenever you call Mr. Rooter Plumbing of the Hudson Valley, they send someone out as soon as someone is available, and usually it's within an hour. No matter what time it is. Also, when they fix something, it's fixed. The people are very courteous and take time to explain everything to me, answer my questions, and if I don't understand something, they'll break it down for me in better detail so that I do understand. They tried to sell additional unneeded service. The work they did poform was adequate. RESPONSE FROM Mr. Rooter Of The Hudson Valley: Mr. Sabia, I am sorry you felt we tried to sell you unnecessary services. When we cleared your main line in January of 2011 we discovered during the video inspection of your main line that it was infested with roots and full of grease. One year later you called us to clear your main line again and we found the same problem, roots and grease. We recommend other options so you can be informed about all of the solutions to the problem, from a Root X treatment, Hydro Scrubbing, and/or full replacement of the line. We can even replace your sewer line all of the way into the street without digging it up, saving money and the destruction of your yard. Your problem will continue to get worse as the roots continue to grow and break your sewer line. We will always provide all of the options to our customers. Very pleased with service 2/8/2012

I appreciated the ease of scheduling an appt time that was convenient for me. I also liked having a phone call alerting me to the plumber's arrival time and then a follow-up phone call after the repairs were made. The plumber was courteous and professional. I would definitely call Mr. Plumber again. more

I live in a house that is over 100 years old, so the plumbing issues have been a problem forever. I wish I had discovered Mr. Rooter years earlier. They have helped me resolve numerous problems, with excellent service (emergency and maintenance) and with great attitude. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and true to their word. It is a great source of comfort to feel the plumbing in my house is in good working order, and should something unforeseen happen, they will help resolve it. I cannot recommend them highly enough! Highly responsive and very affordable. 1/6/2012

The first plumber I had in, gave me a huge estimate I couldn't afford, he was really going to work me over. I called Mr. Rooter Plumbing of the Hudson Valley and they were able to come out the same day. He assessed the issue, which was something totally different than the first plumber had said, and was able to fix it within half an hour! I have been with Mr. Rooter Plumbing of the Hudson Valley for a number of years and they do the job very well. They come within the time parameters they set, and do the work. This company is first rate. I used them for my business when we had an emergency and they gave us immediate and perfect assistance. I used them at my home and the service man was courteous, helpful and even wore little booties over his shoes as not to track dirt in!! I will recommend this company to everyone. more

Great to work with! 11/14/2011

Mr. Rooter Plumbing of the Hudson Valley come over when they're supposed to, they show up on time and are always friendly. I usually use the same guy all the time, but I've used others in the past and they have all been good. I think they have great follow-up too. They only drawback is that they are pricey, I don't know if it's the labor costs or the materials they use like copper, but I think you will get what you pay for with them. And they do give you discounts when they can, and try to work with you too. I'll definitely use them again and again! more
