Unfortunately, there's no option for which store we can review. But after all the nonsense the store in Fort Worth put me through, and after the reviews my friends shared on the other locations, I don't think I'll be going back to any of the Movie Trading Co. stores any time soon, if ever.
The Fort Worth store has taken on some unpleasant changes since I last visited. There's new management, new associates, and the store itself has taken on some physical changes. But to my regret, none of which I find for the best.
The associates are rude, snotty and oblivious. (Not were, are.) The new managers there have treated me and my children very poorly on more than one occasion - an issue I never had with the old familiars there - and the service I'm offered is often quick, but careless. A lot of the time, the associates seem very listless and uncaring, hardly exerting themselves in an effort to help a customer like me out. (Again, a problem I never had with a couple of the former employees there.)
I know that not all change is bad, but when it affects customer service consistency...it just seems completely unacceptable. I can understand bad days, but this became constant enough to where it has honestly bothered me and my family. And because of the steadfast unfriendliness and the malicious atmosphere (on more than one occasion, I've caught a few of the workers there trash-talking customers, including my husband) I will not be finding my movies and music somewhere else. I'm not fond of the thought of shopping in a place run by a cluster of ignorant, inauspicious, overgrown middle school-minded children.
But as for product quality, I can give them kudos for the variety. However, the praise ends there. A few times too many, I've had to return pre-damaged items.
