For all you people who hate movie palace. Your wrong about it. The reason they can't give money back is because they need the money. There drawers will be off. If someone wants to rent another movie because your copy was ruined or they didn't have the movie in there, they will let you! The people that work there are very friendly and are willing to try and make acceptions for people. As long as you return your movie and you don't complain about late fees there will never be any rude behavior. So for all you people who hate movie palace!! SCREW OFF!! lol. NEVER RENT HERE 12/20/2007

I've been renting at Movie Palace since they've opened. This week I wanted to rent Eight Crazy Nights so my 4year old could see how funny it is. The copy I picked up said 2-disc edition I was picking out a soda while the woman working was checking the disc when I got home the only disc in the box was the extras disc NO MOVIE I went directly back to the store and was told they couldn't give back my $3. I was only out of the store for about 7minutes with the movie I called the manager because it was the woman checking the disc before I left the store that should have been punished not me. Then the manager was unwilling to do anything about it so I told her I wouldn't be back and she only said well OK that's not how you should treat customers they only wanted my money and couldn't care less that my boy didn't get to watch a movie I was talking to him about all day I HOPE THEY GO OUT OF BUSINESS SOON Pros: none Cons: they don't care if you get what you pay for more

Avoid this video store!! We recently rented a movie and returned it on the date it was due. Two weeks later when we tried to rent another movie, we were told, to our profound surprise, that the movie was still out. Apparently, the word of a loyal customer who has patronized the store for nine years means absolutely nothing. When I insisted that I had brought the movie back and had actually handed it to a store clerk, I was met with disbelief and then was grilled about when I came in and who I handed it to. I couldn't remember, because I didn't think I had to. I naively thought once I handed the movie to an employee of the store, it would be checked in and shelved. I was told they conducted an audit of their store and could not find the movie. Well, I also conducted an audit of my house and my car, and I couldn't find the movie, either. Not a big surprise to me, since I clearly remember getting out of my car, movie in hand, walking up to the counter and handing the movie to a store employee. What happened to the movie after that point, I don't know but ultimately, I had to pay $25 for a movie that is not in my possession and that was returned to the store on the day it was due. Protect yourself and insist on a signed and dated receipt when bringing back a movie to this store, or better yet, don't go there at all! Rent from Schnuck's or get a membership to Netflix instead. I have a 4-year-old son, and we rented movies from this store nearly every week, but we will never go back. They have our $25 but they've lost much more business than that.
