Mountain Gate Family Restaurant is great for a family style atmosphere. They give you a lot of food for the price you paid. I usually get the buffet, which is full of very tasty items. This is not a gourmet or high-end restaurant but if you are looking for a solid meal this is someplace you should visit. more

They have the best chicken around! Every time I pass through Maryland I stop there and eat! They have a great buffet and a nice gift shop too! The buffet has tons of food on it. It has a salad bar, meats, sides, and even cakes and pies. The service is fast and the staff is friendly. The price to eat there is average. You get a big amount of food for a good price! more

Today, Mountain Gate is renowned for their delicious homemade cooking, fresh baked goods, buffet, catering, and unique gift shops. Mountain Gate can also hold up to 350 guests and can handle bus tours. We also have private banquet rooms that can be flexibly sized to suit parties from 10 people up to 200.
