Driving the winding toll road to near the summit of Mount Kearsarge is an adventure. But it's even more so to get to the top without your car.
Park at the Winslow State Park picnic area (there's a small fee to get in), and hike the 1.1-mile Winslow Trail. The top is cluttered with antennae and people taking in the panorama view from the 2,937-foot peak. Find a lonesome ledge and enjoy the endless views.
