It is my understanding that only God can judge us, so why do the admistrators and some of the people working in the Moore County jail feel like they have the right to judge those that are in there care? I understand that they did something to get in there and that they are not on a vacation. There is such a thing as mercy and compassion. We all seem to call on God (or someone we choose to believe in) when we need something or we want mercy and compassion from God or others, but where is the mercy and compassion for those put in the charge of those running the jail? We all like to say we are Christians, but it by your works not your words that you show you are. more

That is my tax dollars paying for your sorry butts to be in Jail because you can not follow simple rules or take care of your families. Personaly we need more like the Arizona Jail. Give you a tent, pink uniform, bologna sandwiches and make you work in the garden to help earn your keep, No AC, one TV in the play room . So to me in Moore County jail you are in club med. So eat it up follow the SIMPLE LAWS and then you will not see the inside of the jail. Pros: Best Deputys in North Carolina Cons: Not enough like them more

overcrowded craphole 7/27/2008

my fiance is in and he says the food is terrible and you have to save food from your tray to take the edge off between meals, the place is way too crowded (some of the inmates sleep on mats on the floor while others sleep on cots), and it is like 80 degrees in there all the time. he said you get barely any hygiene products and you have to wash your clothes while you're in the shower. i think it's about time for an upgrade!! Pros: the jail is pretty good about letting the inmates have phone calls home Cons: everything else more
