I sent my kid here for the encouraging environment that they foster in the Montessori Academy. They teach the kids to think independently, also having the same teachers for 3-4 years helps the teachers know my children better, which truly cannot exist in a traditional environment. more

I love that my children are able to work and learn at their own pace at Montessori Academy. My kids never feel like they are lagging behind or bored. Their individual needs are always met. more

Best School in Nashville 9/26/2002

I have 2 girls in Montessori Academy! The oldest has scored post high school on all the state tests required every year she has taken it! (She is in 8th grade) Pros: Inexpensive, Excellent Staff, Individual attention Cons: finish High School more

  • Montessori Academy is the largest private, not-for-profit Montessori school in the Nashville/Brentwood area, and is the only AMS/SACS accredited Montessori school in Middle Tennessee. It is a non-sectarian, independent, co-educational school, accepting students from age 3 through the 6th grade. A strong partnering of teachers, parents, and students enables our students to achieve their maximum potential academically, physically, socially, and spiritually.
