the food is not bad... but is too noisy more

I LIKE SALSA MUSIC BUT I DON'T LIKE TO GO ALL THE WAY TO SF TO ENJOY GOOD MUSIC, SO I WAS LOOKING FOR A GOOD SALSA CLUB CLOSE BY, THEN I FOUND OUT ABOUT CLUB MONTEROS AND I THOUGH THAT IT WAS A NICE A IDEA TO GO THERE AND CHECK THE CLUB MYSELF.MY GIRLFRIEND AND I WENT THERE LAST NIGHT AND THIS IS WHAT WE THINK ABOUT THE CLUB: WELL THE CLUB IS KIND OF SMALL AND THEY NEED MORE VENTILATION, THE COVER IS NOT BAD FOR THE AREA,THE PEOPLE IS VERY NICE AND TO BE HONEST I HAD ONE OF THE BEST MOJITOS IN THE BAY AREA. BOTH OF THE BARTENDERS A REALLY POLITE AND FRIENDLY, I ASKED ONE OF THEM IF THEY GIVE FREE DRINKS FOR BIRTHDAY PEOPLE AND HE SAID ""SORRY, WE'RE NOT ALLOWED TO GIVE ANY FREE DRINKS AT ALL"" WHICH I THINK IT'S OK BECAUSE THE DRINKS ARE REALLY GOOD . HOWEVER I ASKED HIM WHAT DOES HE RECOMMEND AND HE SUGGESTED A COCONUT MOJITO FOR ME AND BESO LATINO FOR MY GIRLFRIEND. WE WERE STANDING AT THE BAR FOR A WHILE AND WE NOTICED THAT THEY ARE SO BUSY THAT THEY CAN'T EVEN TALK TO PEOPLE, THE BAR IN THE BACK OF THE CLUB IS VERY BUSY AND THE BARTENDER THERE IS AMAZING, HE MAKES LIKE FOUR DRINKS IN LESS THAN A MINUTE. As a vegetarian, I don't like most Mexican restaurants in the Bay Area - there are a couple of taquerias I like for lunch, but nothing really great for dinner out. Tonight we tried out Montero's and I REALLY liked it. The guacamole and the salsa on the table were both fresh and flavorful. The refried beans AND rice were both yummy and vegetarian. I had the chile rellenos stuffed with spinach and they were great, although I would prefer a hotter pepper. However, pouring what was left of the table salsa over it did the trick. My partner had a quesadilla with spinach. He said it was very good, but next time he will try something else. The drinks (mojito and special margarita) were very well done. Was introduced to this Mexican restaurant by a cute, close friend of mine. They have soo good sopepitos and breakfast burritos and salads. Big portions and lots of flavor. And the prices are pretty low. The only problem with Montero's can be the service. Once when I went, our server spilled my can of diet Coke and did not offer to bring a fresh one - Diet Coke is ""pay by the can"" there and as I'm a DC addict, those lost drops were a sad sight. Also, you are continuously asked after you order chips, burritos, and everything else if you'd like ""guacamole with that""- you'll see it later on your bill. Also, there are pics of Frieda Kahlo everywhere which can be a little disconcerting. But, Montero's is a good place, good food, good prices.
