Good bay area suschi 6/20/2009

My wife and I find this to be a place to go in the bay area when we are in sushi/japanese mood. Run by Koreans. There are more autentic sushi restaurants in the bay area but their price/quality is not as good. Pros: Fun, good sushi for the price Cons: Minimual Sake, not true sushi more

This is where Google gets its sushi.... 4/1/2009

I like this place for fun, crazy rolls. Unfortunately they have no menu online, so I have a paper one at home to help me order in on tv & sushi nights! Pros: Really fun, interesting roles! Cons: Not super authentic more

Best sushi I've had in California 12/23/2008

\r We moved here two years ago from Hawaii and had some incredible sushi restaurants there. We went to Momoya Sushi tonight and loved it. The ahi sashimi was incredible. Katsu and teriyaki - perfect. Dancing ebi roll and dragon rolls - also perfect. \r \r Service was attentive and patient with how long it takes us to decide what to order.\r \r My new favorite restaurant. more

best in Mountain view 7/31/2007

You could go to Palo Alto. You could find a trendier place. You could have a better location. But you would still be missing out. Bottom line, Momoya is the best I have tried. The only better sushi I have ever had was in Vancouver, Canada, and that's a bit of a drive. Pros: excellent sashimi, very friendly Cons: location, miso more

Excellent authentic Japanese food, great service too! 7/28/2007

This is my first review, so I hope it's okay. I went to this restaurant with a friend who highly recommends it. The store front doesn't look impressive in a strip mall right between other restaurants, but the interior decor is a bit reminiscent of small Japanese restaurants in Japan, with a sushi bar where you can sit and watch the sushi chef do his stuff. Pros: Great food! reasonable price for Japanese restaurant, friendly customer service, intimate quiet atmosphere Cons: Nothing comes to mind more
